1.1 COMPANY OVERVIEW After working extensively within the health care industry Graham Bradshaw highlighted a need for better support, a larger range and higher quality products for medical equipment. As a result, in 2004 Zone Medical was born. Zone Medical was founded with the vision of bringing the best in medical equipment to health practitioners across Australia. To deliver both technological solutions and extensive support to enhance health services, ease the burden on medical personnel and improve patient outcomes. Today Zone Medical employs over 15 staff and is operating internationally. As a result of its rapid expansion Zone has recently shifted its headquarters to Yatala to accommodate the growth of the company. 1.5 REPORTING/MEETINGS/TRAINING Zone conducts regular staff meetings and subsequent reports to ensure all aspects of the company are running to expectation and to identify any key areas which may call for improvement. It is proud of it's 0% serious accident record and is continually looking for areas in which Health & Safety can be improved to ensure the safest possible environment for it's staff and on-site visitors. 1.7 FINANCIAL VIABILITY Zone Medical has remained financially solvent since its commencement and is able to pay all debts. We employ a full-time Financial Controller to oversee all financial matters. Zone Medical is pleased to provide additional information to demonstrate our financial viability. 1.8 SUSTAINABILITY STATEMENT Zone Medical takes a practical approach to sustainability. Environmental, social and economic considerations are taken into account and are what we base our day to day operations upon. Zone Medical strives to deliver high quality products that are both commercially successful and environmentally responsible. Sustainability is important to Zone Medical and we have implemented many sustainable initiatives including the following: We encourage electronic storage of date rather than printed versions. We encourage the use of recycled stationary and products. Zone Medical has introduced double sided printing and a heightened awareness amongst staff of the impact on the environment when printing documents. Printing cartridges are recycled. Air travel is coordinated to maximise air miles to achieve a reduction in emissions. Zone Medical has reduced its company vehicle fleet to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Items of equipment that does not meet Australian safety standards are refurbished and offered to places where poverty exists through the rotary club of Australia. 4

DIRECTOR/SALES MANAGER Graham oversees all areas of Business Management and Development for Zone Medical. GRAHAM BRADSHAW Before establishing Zone Medical Graham worked with some of the largest medical wholesalers in Australia and gained extensive knowledge of the industry working as a Sales Equipment Specialist. He has official qualifications in Electronics, Industrial Electronics, Communication and Marketing & Sales and has over 15 years experience specialising within the Medical Equipment industry. TECHNICAL MANAGER Daniel is responsible for the organisation and ongoing maintenance of Zone's core products. He specialises in Sterilisation and Infection Control and last year was a chief advisor assisting NSW health inspectors for infection control. DANIEL JOHNSTONE He has 11 years experience within the industry, 6 of which specialising with Sterilisers and Infection Control. Daniel has a Certificate 4 in Business Development and Marketing. QA / ADMIN MANAGER Kathie overseas all aspects of Accounts and Human Resource Management for Zone Medical. She is responsible for the day to day administration duties of the business and assists with customer service. Kathie is also Zone's First Aid Officer. KATHIE McGOW Kathies expert knowledge has been honed from over 15 years experience within Financial and Human Resource sectors for numerous businesses accross Australia. 7
TERRITORY MANAGER Andrew is one of our Territory Managers. He has 15 years experience in the Medical Industry working for Medical Equipment Manufacturers in the role of sales, marketing, and product training. ANDREW PETERSEN With a Certificate 4 in training & Assessment, he has worked closely with suppliers, educators, and end users, to provide quality training on the products in his portfolio. TERRITORY MANAGER Wayne has been in the medical field for over 25 years. He has owned and operated his own business servicing medical equipment within NZ and also has extensive experience throughout Australia. WAYNE CANNING His background is in Capital Equipment & Devices and has specialised in Plastic Surgery, ENT in the past as well as in Paramedics, Emergency care. He has received training in Germany, Itay, Korea, China, USA and brings international experience to the Zone Medical team. MARKETING MANAGER Ben is responsible for the Marketing, Advertising, Corporate Identity and Graphic Design for Zone Medical. This includes all printed and web related material. BEN VAN WIJK He graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Visual Communication and has worked for numerous advertising companies and also has extensive experience with printing and web design.
