Project Update The NYISO is automating its credit management processes and calculations through the implementation of CMS CMS is a multi-phased credit automation system intended to integrate, streamline and automate credit processes and requirements across markets CMS currently handles the TCC, ICAP and Virtual Transactions market credit management processes and requirements CMS deployment scheduled for June 2010 to automate the two-year TCC credit requirements and Energy and Ancillary Services credit management processes and requirements 3 3
Project Update The Market Participant User Interface, scheduled for October 2010, will provide Market Participants with transparency into its credit position and information necessary for portfolio management. 4 4

General Hyperlinks are used to denote drill down functionality Urgent information will be in bold red font Negative numbers will not be displayed in red Most tables will be sortable by column headers and will have a default sort order applied when accessing the page Column totals are included where applicable Data tables will be paged at 25 rows per page Monthly data is the exception; all monthly data will be displayed in the data table Paging is used for larger data sets Most screens provide export capabilities via.pdf and.xls Exports contain entire data set not just what is displayed on the screen Exports are based on current sort order Includes the date and timestamp of generation Session timeout will be 60 minutes 7 7

Log Out menu item is further to the right. 2. Page title is displayed at the top of the screen and included in with extracts. 3. Breadcrumb trail navigational tool in gray bar below page title. 4. Data will be cached once it is accessed for the first time so that there is a consistent data set when navigating through the market screens. The date and time of the data is displayed and can be refreshed via the Refresh Data button. 5. Summary information is displayed below the breadcrumb trail bar. 6. When applicable, a drop-down box will be provided to allow users to switch between data sets without having to navigate back to the previous page to make a new selection. 7. Number of pages and paging feature will be displayed below the summary data. 8. Any buttons that act on a table will be located in the top right corner of the associated table. 9. Both excel and PDF exports, where applicable, will be available at the bottom of the page. 8
Login Screen 9 1. Only those identified as Credit Contacts on the Section II form will be granted access. 2. Users who are Credit Contacts for multiple organizations will have a log in with a username tied to the specific organization. 9
Credit Management Menu 10 1. The Credit Management menu provides navigation to: Credit Summary (home page) Posted Credit: Information on credit instruments Credit Calls: Details in regard to any open collateral calls and open and closed (but unexpired) Margin Calls 10

External Links Menu 12 1. External Links are provided to each of the Market applications, Credit Home Page and BlackRock sites. 2. All External Links open in a separate browser window so users can toggle between the CMS User Interface and the selected link. 12

Credit Summary Home Page 14 1. Serving as the home page for the Market Participant User Interface, the Credit Summary provides organization and market level credit information. 2. Market Participants that have Unsecured Credit will see: Concentration Cap, Adjusted Unsecured Baseline, and Approved Unsecured Baseline. If not approved for Unsecured Credit, those data elements will not be displayed on the screen. 3. Clicking the Credit Requirement hyperlink for a market will drill down to the corresponding market summary page. 4. The Edit Allocation button will enable editing of the Credit Allocated field for the purpose of reallocating available credit in the markets that the organization is approved to participate. 14

Credit Summary Edit Allocation 16 1. Any allocation change will trigger a validation to ensure that the Credit Allocated amount is not less than the Credit Requirement. 16
Posted Credit 17 1. Posted Credit includes information on credit instruments that the Market Participants has with the NYISO. 2. Selecting the link on an associated instrument amount will drill down to the details of the specific instrument. 17
Credit Instrument Details 18 1.Credit Instrument Details includes the pertinent information regarding each type of credit instrument that a Market Participant has with the NYISO. Any fields not relative to a credit instrument will be blank. 2.Once on the screen the user can chose to select a specific credit instrument type or all instruments. The selection options, which are based on what the Market Participant has with the NYISO, include: All Cash Guaranteed Credit Letter of Credit Net Receivable Unsecured Credit 18

TCC 21 1. Displays credit position information for TCC Market by Auction. 2. Select the Auction Name hyperlink to see the specific details for that auction. 21

Virtual Transactions 23 1. Each hyperlink will drill into a different data set. Submitted Bid Requirement, Scheduled Bid Requirement and Daily Gains/(Losses) drills down to Virtual Bid Activity Details for the identified data set Previous Month Settlement, Current Month Settlement drills down to Virtual Settlement Details for the identified data set Previous and Current Month Settlements are displayed until the settlement date At the first of the following month the previous month settlement will once again be displayed Received Margin Call Payments links to Credit Calls page 23
Virtual Bid Activity Detail 24 1. Option to select Bid Status of either Submitted, Scheduled or Daily Gains/(Losses). 2. Application will display results based on Bid Status selected. 24
