ANZ Private Portfolios page 10 Creating and printing reports The most useful reports are: Portfolio Valuation by Security, Income, Realised CGT and Unrealised CGT. Please note that when running reports the start date should be the day following the initial purchase date of your securities. This is due to the fact that your securities are purchased throughout the day then added to your account at the end of that day. To find your initial purchase date, sort the data by date order on the Transaction History screen. Refer to Viewing transaction history on page 7. The initial purchase date of securities is generally the day after monies are drawn down but it can be later, for example if the following day/s were not ASX trading days. Producing reports is a three step process: First, you need to select the portfolio you wish to report on Second, you customise the report And third, you generate the report. These three procedures are described in this topic. Selecting a portfolio Reports are generated from the Reporting menu. It is possible to search and select any portfolios you have access to from this page. To select a portfolio: 1. From the Reporting menu, click New Reports. The portfolio that is already selected defaults as selected on this page. The portfolio ID and name display beside the Generate button. 2. To select a different portfolio, type all or part of the portfolio ID or code in the My Portfolios Filter box. The screen refreshes with portfolios that match the criteria you have typed. 3. Click the portfolio for which you want to report. The selected portfolio is shaded blue in the My portfolios window. The ID and name of the selected portfolio also display beside the Generate button in the adjacent area of the screen as shown in step 1 above. Customising your report By customising your report, you are choosing the information you would like displayed in the report and how you would like it to appear. Your report can contain a number of different sections; for example: Portfolio valuation Tax summary Cash transactions. The sections that you are able to include in your report display in the main central area of the screen, below the Period ending box.

ANZ Private Portfolios page 11 To customise your report: 1. Type a Period ending date for your report. This box defaults to the current as at date for your selected portfolio. 2. Select the sections you want by clicking the adjacent checkbox. Selecting a section will display the configuration options available to customise that section. The Report period field displays the period that the section will report for. The report period will likely be different for different sections. Some sections allow you to edit the report period while other sections are fixed for a specific financial period. Occasionally, there may be a discrepancy between the period you are requesting to report on and the date to which the selected portfolio is currently recalculated. This means the data for the period might not be available. 3. Continue to select and customise each section you want to include in your report. 4. Drag and drop any section in this window to arrange the sections in the order you want them to appear in your report. Note, the Hide unselected option at the top of the list of sections can be used to hide any sections that you have not selected from this screen. It does not mean the section will be hidden from your report. To not include a section in your report, you simply leave the checkbox cleared. Printing the report Once you have selected the portfolio (which contains the report s source data) and customised the report (which specifies the report period and the data you want included in the report), you can download a PDF of the report itself. 1. Click Generate. If there is any discrepancy between the Period ending date and the as at date of the portfolio, a warning will display. Otherwise, a brief message displays to inform you that your report is being generated. 2. The report displays in the My reports window. The report is listed and identifiable by the portfolio ID and the time and date at which the report was generated. A status displays for each report. Some states, such as Submitted and Running, are temporary. A successfully generated report should display the Ready status. Each report has a number of options, as described in the following table. Option Description Click to delete the report. Click to display information about the contents of the report. Click to open a dialog box that allows you to save the PDF to your computer or send the PDF to a printer.

ANZ Private Portfolios page 12 Download all Click Download all to save all the reports in your My reports window to a compressed zip folder. You can access each individual PDF from this folder after you have saved them. This may take several minutes if there are many reports. Clear downloaded Click Clear downloaded to clear all reports that you have previously downloaded to view or print. Only the reports that you have not yet downloaded that is, those displayed in bold will not be deleted. Any reports older than five days are automatically cleared from My reports.

ANZ Private Portfolios page 13 Additional contributions To make an investment in the service and open an account, you must complete (online) the Application and Nominated Representative Forms that accompany the PDS. Investments may be made at any time by electronic cash transfer or by transferring eligible securities into the service. Regular Contribution Plans or Your Own Savings Plans are options for making automatic regular contributions to your account. Please contact your Adviser to discuss all of the above options. Note: See the How to Invest section of the PDS for more information about investing assets in the Service. Once you have opened an account, all other transactions can be done online through your Adviser. Additional contributions using BPay Call your participating financial institution to make a cash contribution from your nominated cheque, savings or cash management trust account. You will need to know your Biller Code and Reference. If you created the Application Form online, these are noted on the form. If you sent in a paper-based Application Form, you can print out the details once the data has been entered into the system. Otherwise call the Client Services Team on (03) 8622 1222.

ANZ Private Portfolios page 14 Definitions General: The following columns appear on the Portfolio Valuation screen. Data is sourced from the Systems data supplier. Est Income is an estimate (only) of the total income per share, equal to the sum of the dividends that each stock paid over the previous twelve months. Est yield is the estimated dividend yield of a stock: Est Income / Value. Margin lending LVR is the Loan to Value Ratio. For each stock there is an LVR set by the margin lender, which is the percentage of that stock's value that the lender is prepared to lend on. For example, if BHP had an LVR of 70% and you had $100 worth of BHP, the lender would be prepared to lend you $70. The figure at the top of the Portfolio Valuation is the overall LVR taking all of the stocks held into account. Free Limit is the Geared Value (Value x LVR) less the loan balance. It is the amount that you have in excess of the loan before a margin call might occur, based on your account size at the moment. Estimated Borrowing Capacity is the absolute maximum additional amount you would be able to borrow, all other things being equal. It is calculated by dividing the Free Limit by 1 minus the LVR. For example, if a portfolio had a total account value of $10,000, a loan balance of $5,000 and an LVR of 0.75, its estimated borrowing capacity would be $10,000. If the client borrowed a further $10,000 the total account value would be $20,000 and the loan would be $15,000. The geared value would also be $15,000 so the free limit would be 0. Trading on your account: The stocks selected for your account will be determined by the Model Portfolio(s) that you select. Rebalancing in the service is an automatic process whereby Model Portfolios are compared against investors accounts. The rebalancing process within the service will be undertaken on each Rebalancing Date, generally each business day. However, your account will only be affected in the following circumstances: A Model Manager makes a change to one of the Model Portfolios you have subscribed to; You make a contribution to or withdrawal from your Personal Portfolio; You instruct us to switch Portfolio Models or make other alterations to your Account; As a result of market movements, if you have chosen to fix your Model weights; Where your portfolio s cash balance has moved away from the minimum required as a result of income received, fees paid or drift in market prices. The Model Managers generally review their Models each business day and may advise Praemium of changes to their Model Portfolios at any time.

ANZ Private Portfolios page 15 Dealing in securities for the service will be undertaken by Praemium on the advice of the relevant Model Portfolio Advisers. Dealing will occur on an aggregate basis across all Model Portfolios within the service to take advantage of scale and netting opportunities. All securities will be allocated to the relevant Accounts on a pro rata basis. In order to minimise the amount of brokerage paid, Praemium will generally use a single execution only broker. However, Praemium may use other brokers if market conditions and stock-specific factors warrant it. Minimum Trade Size: If cash is above or below the 2% minimum holding by more than the minimum trade size, stocks will be bought or sold to invest excess cash or liquidate requisite cash. The system will trade the stock furthest from its weight within the Model Portfolio. This may happen as a result of a small cash transaction.
