MARKET UPDATE INTRA DAY CHART OF S ENSEX Indian markets ended on a lower note majorly dragged by the metal, healthcare and realty stocks. Nifty closed at 8277.55 down by 21.85points or 0.26percent over the previous day closing of 8299.40 after witnessing a low of 8236.65 and a high of 8326.45.Sensex closed at 27346.82 down by 78.91points or 0.29percent over the previous day closing of 27425.73. It touched an intraday low of 27203.25 and high of 27512.80. The markets breadth was negative. Out of 2980 stocks traded 1259 stocks advanced, 1599 stocks declined and 122 stocks remained unchanged. In Sensex, Out of 3 0 stocks 11 stocks advanced and 19 stocks declined. Among the sectors, BSE Metal, BSE Healthcare and B S E Realty were the main losers of the day which decreased by 3.50percent 0.90percent and 0.73percent respectively. In BSE Healthcare sector Wockhardt, Ranbaxy Labs and Cadila Health declined by 2.81percent,1.84percent and 1.79percent. In BSE Realty sector Indiabulls Real, HDIL and Anant Raj decreased by 2.96percent,1.86percent and 1.52percent respectively. OUTLOOK Indian markets are likely to be volatile as important macroeconomic data as well as some important results are scheduled during the week. Also the global scenario would likely to have a impact on the market. As mentioned earlier, we expect select stocks from Power, Infrastructure, BFSI and Automobiles to remain in limelight during CY15. IIP growth for Nov14 is 3.8% vs 2.3% estimated and -4.2% prior period. CPI for Dec14 is 5% vs 5.35% estimated and 4.38% prior period. Capital goods production growth of 6.5% yoy is positive for L&T, Thermax, BEML WPI for December beat the consensus and came at 0.11%. Buy Tata Power, IL&FS transport, IDFC, IDBI, Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Blue Star, Whirlpool, Tata Chemicals on declines. Important results expected during the week are Bajaj Auto, TCS, RIL, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ITC, Wipro et al. 2

NEWS Tata Motors global sales increased by 8.23% in December 2014 Tata Motors global wholesale volumes increased by 8.23% to 85,742 units in the month of December 2014, driven by passenger vehicles. The company had sold 79,220 units in the corresponding period of 2013. Sales of luxury brand Jaguar Land Rover increased by 6.75% to 42,962 units during December, as compared to 40,244 in the same month last year. Global sales of all passenger vehicles in December stood at 55,145 units, increased by 10.91%, from 49,721 in December 2013. The sales of commercial vehicles in December increased by 3.72% to 30,597 units from 29,499 units a year ago. Cumulative sales of the company for the period April - December of FY2014-15 was down by 5.36% to 713,530 units against 753,949 units, during the same period of last year.
