Covered Bond Program Key features Structure Covered Bonds are issued by Westpac, backed by an unconditional and irrevocable guarantee by the Covered Bond Guarantor (the CBT Guarantor ), which is limited in recourse to the assets in the Westpac Covered Bond Trust Security Security comprises a pool of Australian residential mortgages which meet the eligibility criteria (the cover pool ).
