Mr. Mike Kileen, Director Mr. Mike Kileen provided thirty-four (34) years of service in the field of education and retired as Assistant Superintendent of Business Services for the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District. Mr. Kileen has served on Kern Schools Federal Credit Union s Board of Directors since 1979. During his tenure, he has held many positions of the Board, and currently serves as Chairperson of the Electronic Risk and Security Assessment Committee. As part of his community involvement, Mr. Kileen is affiliated with local, state, and national educational and technological organizations, and currently serves as President of the Bakersfield Christmas Parade Board of Directors. Mr. Carl B.A. Lange, III, Director Mr. Carl B.A. Lange provided service in the field of education for more than forty (40) years as a teacher, employee for the Kern County Superintendent of Schools Schools Legal Services division, and part-time staff member with California Teachers Association Southern Section Credit Union. After serving on the Supervisory Committee, Mr. Lange was elected to the Kern Schools Federal Credit Union Board of Directors in October 2014. Dr. Larry Reider, Director Dr. Larry Reider provided forty-four (44) years of service in the field of education as a teacher, principal, school district superintendent, and Superintendent for the Kern County Superintendent of Schools. Dr. Reider has served on Kern Schools Federal Credit Union s Board of Directors since 1982. During his tenure, he has served on the Personnel, Credit Union Services, and Facilities Committees, as well as Chairperson of the Board. As part of his community involvement, Dr. Reider serves on several non-profit organization boards. Dr. Dennis Scott, Chairperson Dr. Dennis Scott provided thirty-eight (38) years of service in the field of education, including fourteen (14) years as Associate Superintendent of Business for the Kern High School District. Dr. Scott has served on Kern Schools Federal Credit Union s Board of Directors since 2009 and currently serves as Chairperson of the Board of Directors. He previously served as Treasurer of the Board and Chairperson of the Asset/Liability Committee (ALCO). This partnership is part of Houchin s Give It Up High School Blood Drive Challenge, and encourages the general public to participate and credit their favorite local high school. The Kern County high school that receives the most credited blood donations at Houchin s donor centers will receive a custom trophy and other prizes from Kern Schools at the 2015 Give It Up High School Blood Drive Challenge Awards Luncheon. We will also provide $250 scholarships to two specially chosen students involved with the blood drives.
