Most SBF 120 companies have such a self-insurance company and most of the risk managers are involved in their management. However, this vehicle can be complex to manage and requires the company to master all aspects. HDI Global SE France manages over twenty programs for major customers with the involvement of their captive in 2018. The industrial insurer has a dedicated team in France that supports risk managers to administrate and benefit from this vehicle.
