FUND INFORMATION UP TO DATE FUND PRICES AND FURTHER INFORMATION ON OUR FUNDS CAN ALSO BE FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE WWW.SCOTTISHWIDOWS.CO.UK 1. If income is your priority then you could consider a fund which aims for income to be paid out on a regular basis (income shares). If capital growth is your main aim, then investment in accumulation shares in your preferred fund may be appropriate. Accumulation shares automatically retain any income they earn. This is reflected in the value of the shares. 2. In the case of income shares the dates shown relate to the dates when any income is paid out. In the case of accumulation shares the dates shown relate to the dates when any income is deemed to be retained within the fund for tax purposes. 3. If investing directly in an OEIC fund you will receive a tax voucher for each distribution. The tax voucher shows the amount of income that has been paid out (for holders of income shares) or, that has been retained within the investment (for holders of accumulation shares). Each interest and dividend distribution is classed as taxable income therefore you should declare the total amount received to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC). Depending on your personal circumstances you may have a liability to pay tax on the total amount received to HMRC. 4. The Initial/Entry charge shown is for investments into Class A. Please see the individual KIIDs for the Initial/Entry charge for Classes B and C. Please note the Initial/Entry charges do not apply to investments into Classes G or P. 6. If investing directly in an OEIC fund the minimum single payment that can be invested is usually 1,000 per application, subject to a minimum of 1,000 per fund, except for Classes A and B of the UK Tracker Fund which have a minimum investment of 100,000. With an ISA, the minimum single payment is 1,000 per application, subject to a minimum of 500 per fund if more than one fund is chosen. For both direct OEIC investments and ISAs, single payment top-ups must be 100 or more. 7. The minimum monthly payment is 50 for both OEIC investments and via an ISA. Where more than one fund is chosen, the minimum monthly payment per fund is 10, subject to an overall minimum monthly investment of 50. So, for example, an investment in two funds could be split 40/ 10 or 30/ 20. For both OEICs and ISAs, the minimum monthly top-up is 10. 8. The minimum single payment quoted on the previous page for the UK Tracker Fund relates purely to ISA investments into Class G. This minimum value is different if investing in Classes A and B of the UK Tracker Fund. The minimum investment amounts for investing in this fund via an ISA are as stated in Sections 6 and 7 above. 5. The ongoing charges will be reviewed from time to time. For the High Income Bond, High Reserve, Strategic Income and UK Equity Income funds part, or all, of the annual management charge is taken from the capital of the fund, which could result in capital reduction over time.
IMPORTANT INVESTOR INFORMATION Please see the OEIC Prospectuses for full terms and conditions. Charges, terms and limits may change. The value of an investment and any income from it is not guaranteed and can go up and down depending on investment performance (and currency exchange rate changes where a fund invests overseas). You could get back less than you invested. ISAs currently receive favourable tax treatment. Please note there are restrictions on the amount you can pay in. For details please see the Supplementary Investor Information Document. Where an OEIC fund makes distribution payments, the ISA manager can reclaim any UK tax which has been deducted from the interest. The value to an investor of any tax advantages will depend on personal circumstances, which may change. This information is based on the assumption that tax legislation is not changed. The OEIC Prospectuses and copies of the latest yearly and half-yearly Short or Long Reports are available on request from Scottish Widows. OEICs and ISAs should be viewed as a medium to long-term investment (at least five to ten years). Other important investment information including details of the aims and risks that apply to each of the funds can be found in the Key Investor Information Document(s) and the Supplementary Investor Information Document relating to this investment.
