FSSAI REGISTRATION / LICENSE FSSAI - INTRODUCTION The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) mandates all Food Businesses be registered or licensed in accordance with the procedure laid down in Food Safety & Standards Act, 2006. The Act requires that all Food Business Operators i.e. persons engaged in the manufacture, processing, packaging, storage, transportation, distribution and sale of food products are required to obtain (depending on their business turnover) either a registration or a license with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India as per the following criteria: CRITERIA Annual turnover from food business up to Rs. 12 lakhs per annum - Registration/Fee Rs. 100 per annum Annual turnover from food business above Rs. 12 lakhs per annum - License/Fee Rs. 2000 per annum CATEGORY OF PRODUCTS The Act applies to following two categories of products in our case: Nutrition, Health and Wellness Food & Beverage DATE LINE FOR REGISTRATION/LICENSE The Government of India has fixed the date line to obtain registration/licence as 15th January 2015 REGISTRATION PROCESS Consultants can register themselves under FSSAI Regulations 2011, Schedule 2 regulations 2.1.1. as Retailer on their own on the website www.fssai.gov.in Below is the step wise detailed procedure for online registration
STEP BY STEP PROCESS FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION/LICENSE FOR FSSAI TYPE URL foodlicensing.fssai.gov.in Screen as in STEP 1 will appear STEP 1: ENTER USER NAME ID anilseth61 (UNDER EXISTING USERS LOGIN) PASSWORD - @mridul98 and SIGN IN All consultants have to use this User ID and Password only for registration/license. This User Name ID and Password is specially created so as to know from the system who all have applied for registration as all registrations will be notified to this User Name ID. STEP - 1 Enter Username ID : anilseth61 Password : @mridul98 and Sign IN
STEP 2 After LOG IN Screen as shown will appear CLICK LICENSE/REGISTRATION (2ND ITEM FROM LEFT). Upon clicking a drop down menu will appear as per STEP 3 STEP - 2 Check for New Application from drop down (as per next slide)
STEP 3 Click APPLY FOR LICENSE/REGISTRATION. After apply screen as per STEP 4 will appear STEP - 3 Click on this for New Application
STEP 4 Click ACCEPT Upon clicking screen will appear as per STEP 5 STEP - 4 Click on this to Accept
STEP 5 Click SELECT STATE and a drop down menu will appear SELECT STATE screen will appear as per STEP 6 STEP - 5 Click to select State
STEP 6 After selecting STATE screen will appear as per STEP 7 Select NO to proceed STEP - 6 Select the State
STEP 7 After selecting NO screen will appear as per STEP 8 Click on BUSINESSES and proceed STEP - 7 Click on 'No' in (One) State
STEP 8 Scroll down the screen and hold till you find RETAILER category Select any one option as displayed in STEP 9 STEP - 8 Click on Other Businesses
STEP 9 After selecting the option screen will display as per STEP 10 Click to APPLY AND FILL THE FORM A STEP - 9 Click on any of this to know the eligibility for License or Registration
STEP 10 Fill all the details as mentioned in the STEP 11 & 12 Select the Category 13 & 14 under NAME OF FOOD CATEGORY SAVE & ADD after selecting the 13 & 14 category one by one STEP - 10 Click to Apply For Form A

STEP 13 Fill all the Mandatory / Required fields as shown in STEP 13 Upload the Photo & Identity proof (JPG or PDF) file Download the Declaration Form & upload the same duly signed & stamped SAVE & ADD under Action after uploading the documents After PROCEED FOR THE PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION your screen appear as per STEP 13 STEP - 13 Upload the document Download the Declaration and upload Fill all details Proceed to generate Payment online or challan
STEP 14 Click PAYMENT VIA SBI CHALLAN and SUBMIT STEP - 14
STEP 15 After completing the payment process, SBI Treasure Challan generates as per STEP 15 STEP - 15 STEP 16 Consultants to submit if required, hard copy of the application along with the uploaded documents at the local office of FSSAI. The actual registration number will be allotted by FSSAI within an estimated period of 15 days. Consultants to note the application number and notify to Modicare Ltd. for uninterrupted business transactions. Consultants to follow up with FSSAI for registration certificate on their own and submit the number immediately to Modicare Ltd.
