You can simply log on to your own personal HSBC Internet Banking and set up the link: - You can choose to log on via the Personal Internet Banking (PIB) service of any HSBC entity where you hold Premier status - When you click on the link to Global View for the first time you will be taken to a new Global View page within the PIB service you are using. The page will display a demo of the Global View service and show the account balances for the PIB profile you are using. You are required to complete a one-off linking process to link other PIB profiles in order to view all of your account balances across HSBC entities worldwide. The linking process requires you to input the security credentials for the PIB profile you are trying to link. You can link any PIB profiles for which you have the correct credentials (The linking process is only required when the service is registered for the first time. There is no need to re-establish the link when you log on in the future) - Linking will be effected in all entity systems involved. For example, if a mainland China customer links both his / her mainland China and US profiles (both with Premier status) via mainland China PIB, when he/she logs on to mainland China PIB he / she will also be able to view his/her US profiles in Global View. And when he / she logs on to US PIB he / she will also be able to view his/her mainland China profiles in Global View - You can link profiles for non-premier relationships as well as Premier relationships. You will access Global View via a Premier country PIB and will then see the account balances for the non- Premier country displayed - When linking a Personal Internet Banking profile and if that profile is, for example, locked out, suspended or dormant, or the PIB service is unavailable, you will see an error message from that HSBC entity. By accepting this error message you ll be returned to Global View - You will have an option to de-link profiles from the Global View service a) Security tips for Internet banking, phonebanking and ATM Password / PIN / user ID / Security Device protection For your own security, it is important that you keep your password / PIN / user ID confidential.
