For this reason, it is not possible to deduce meaningful comparisons between the 1991 census and the new ward data. Please note that cells in these tables have been randomly adjusted to avoid the release of confidential data. This process is carried out by the Office for National Statistics, and coupled with the effects of cross tabulation between 2 or more variables, has resulted in slight differences in the totals or percentages given in certain tables. Please also note that all totals may not add up to 100% because of rounding.
