1 Introduction Handelsbanken s implementation guide DTAZV describes in detail the information that must be included in a message according to specification for cross-border payments from Handelsbanken Germany to an account in a foreign bank or to a local bank in a foreign currency. The description is specific to Handelsbanken s services and routines and may be used only when communicating with Handelsbanken. 1.1 History At Handelsbanken, changes to version numbers are made according to the following guidelines. The original version is 1.0.0. The last digit is moved up a digit when the format descriptions are changed, for example text clarifications and examples. The second digit is moved up a digit if minor changes are made to the format such as new countries or changes in the payment type. The first digit is moved up a digit (thus becoming a completely new version) if the format changes mean that the user will have to make adaptations in order to continue using the service. In this case, all users affected are informed of the new version and what the changes involve. In communication with Handelsbanken, please pay attention to following rules: 1) For payments with due dates on Saturday, Sunday or other banking holidays, payment day will be moved to the closest following banking day. 2) Payment date can be stated for a maximum of 12 months ahead. 3) Payment date can be exceeded by a maximum of 20 days.
