Allianz Vision SM Variable Annuity Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America Investment Protector (R-7/2012) An accumulation benefit that provides a level of protection for the principal your clients invest, with the flexibility to access their contract value based on their retirement needs. How the Investment Protector stands out from the competition Allianz Vision Variable Annuity with the optional Investment Protector rider is a potential solution that makes us stand out in the industry, like Truman the Rockhopper in a crowd of ordinary penguins. Principal protection Guaranteed return of purchase payments, adjusted for withdrawals, after a minimum of 10 years (on the Target Value Date). Lock in the highest annual contract value On the rider anniversary, the contract value is locked in if it s higher than the previously locked-in value, subject to vesting. Money credited to the contract On the last business day before each Target Value Date, money will be added to the contract value to equal the Target Value (the greater of the purchase payments adjusted for withdrawals or 100% of the Rider Anniversary Value). Access to the contract value Once the money has been added to the contract value, your clients can access the entire contract value. On and after the Target Value Date, the contract value will be subject to market fluctuations. For more details on this benefit, please refer to the product profile. P VSN-089

Example: Gains locked in automatically with the Rider Anniversary Value These hypothetical examples are provided to show how the Rider Anniversary Value is locked in and then how money is credited on the last business day before the Target Value Date. On and after the Target Value Date, the contract value will be subject to market fluctuations. These examples do not predict or project the actual performance of Allianz Vision SM Variable Annuity or its investment options. These examples assume you select the Investment Protector at issue and take no withdrawals before the initial Target Value Date. Build it. Principal protection combined with the opportunity to lock in the Rider Anniversary Value can help your clients add a level of certainty to your retirement goals.
