1. RENTAL FEES: A $25.00 CHARGE WILL BE LEVIED AGAINST ALL RETURNED CHECKS. a) A $400.00 RENTAL/SECURITY DEPOSIT ($200.00 HALL AND $200.00 FOR SECURITY) SHALL BE PAID AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION. b) THE FLORAL HALL RENTAL FEE IS $1,000.00 FOR A SATURDAY RENTAL AND $900.00 FOR A SUNDAY RENTAL. FEES MUST BE PAID NOT LESS THAN TWO (2) WEEKS BEFORE THE SCHEDULED RENTAL. c) THE SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE RETURNED WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS OF THE RENTAL, LESS ANY DEDUCTIONS FOR DAMAGES INCURRED BY THE RENTER TO THE PROPERTY OR CONTENTS OF THE FIRE COMPANY. d) THERE WILL BE NO RETURN OF THE DEPOSIT FOR A SHORT NOTICE CANCELLATION 2. HALL RENTAL SHALL INCLUDE THE USE OF THE HALL FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE (5) CONSECUTIVE HOURS FOR A STANDARD RENTAL BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 12 NOON AND 12 MIDNIGHT. TWO (2) BEVERAGE SERVERS, ICE, SODA MIXERS, THE PARKING LOT, RESTROOMS, AND A SUFFICIENT NUMBER OF PITCHERS AND GLASSES WILL BE PROVIDED. a) ADDITIONAL CONSECUTIVE HOURS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE PREVAILING HOURLY RATE. 3. DECORATIONS OF ANY NATURE THAT REQUIRE NAILS, SCREWS, OR OTHER ATTACHMENT TO THE WALLS, DOORS, CEILING, WINDOWS, LIGHT FIXTURES, OR WOODWORK ARE PROHIBITED, AS IS THE USE OF CONFETTI. THE RENTER AGREES TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR DEFACEMENTS TO THE HALL AND THE FIRE COMPANY CAUSED BY THEIR GUESTS. 4. ALL ENTERTAINMENT MUST STOP FIFTEEN (15) MINUTES PRIOR TO THE LATEST HOUR TO WHICH THE HAS BEEN RENTED. THE SERVING OF FOOD AND/OR BEVERAGES WILL ALSO CEASE AT THIS TIME. ALL GUESTS, CATERERS AND ENTERTAINMENT MUST VACATE THE HALL BY THAT HOUR. 5. RENTERS AND GUESTS ARE REQUIRED TO LEAVE THE HALL AND FACILITIES IN AN ORDERLY FASHION. ROWDINESS CAN NOT BE PERMITTED. 6. THE FIRE COMPANY CAN NOT AND WILL NOT ASSUME ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY ARTICLES LEFT BEHIND IN THE HALL OR IN AND AROUND THE BUILDING. 7. THE FIRE COMPANY THROUGH ITS BEVERAGE SERVERS AND CARETAKER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE ANY RENTAL DUE TO DISTURBANCES IN THE HALL OR ON FIRE COMPANY PROPERTY BY ANY PERSON OR PERSONS ATTENDING THE FUNCTION FOR WHICH THE HALL HAS BEEN RENTED.
8. THE USE OF THIS PROPERTY SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ORDINANCES OF THE BOROUGH OF COLLINGDALE AND THE LAWS OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA. THE USE OR DISPENSING OF ANY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS AND RULES OF THE PENNSYLVANIA LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD AND THE POLICIES SET BY THE FIRE COMPANY. THE OBSERVANCE OF THE AFORESAID RULES AND ORDINANCES IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP OR ORGANIZATION RENTING THE FACILITIES OF THE FIRE COMPANY. a) NO BEVERAGES OF ANY KIND ARE PERMITTED OUTSIDE THE FACILITY b) NO SMOKING IS PERMITTED INSIDE THE FACILITY. 9. RENTERS WHO WILL BE OBTAINING THE SERVICES OF A CATERER MUST PROVIDE THE FIRE COMPANY WITH A CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FROM THE CATERER WHEN THE RENTAL FEE IS PAID. IF NO INSURANCE CERTIFICATE IS OBTAINED, THE RENTER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY THE FIRE COMPANY IN CASE OF LOSS RESULTING FROM THE CARTERERS FAILURE TO BE INSURED. THE INSURER MUST ALSO AGREE TO INDEMNIFY THE FIRE COMPANY IN CASE OF ANY LOSS OVER WHICH THE COMPANY HAS NO CONTROL. 10. RENTERS MUST INFORM THE CATERER THAT NO PROPANE CYLINDERS ARE PERMITTED INSIDE THE BUILDING AND THAT ALL FACILITIES USED BY THE CATERER MUST BE LEFT IN A CLEAN AND ORDERLY CONDITION. ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION AGREEMENT THE RESPONSIBLE PARTY MUST READ AND INITIAL EACH LINE ITEM LISTED BELOW CONCERNING THE COMSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL ON FIRE COMPANY PROPERTY ALL GUESTS WHO CONSUME ALCOHOL ON FIRE COMPANY OWNED PREMISES MUST BE ABLE TO PRODUCE A PROOF OF AGE CERTIFICATE. A VALID DRIVER S LICENSE OR A NON-DRIVER PHOTO I.D. CARD WILL BE THE ONLY POSITIVE PROOF OF AGE. NO SHOTS OF ANY KIND WILL BE SERVED AT THE BAR. IF A GUEST REQUESTS UNDILLUTED LIQOUR, IT MUST BE OFFERED OVER ICE. THE SERVING OF ALCOHOL BY ANY ADULT GUEST TO A MINOR WILL BE CONSIDERED AS A VIOLATION OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT AND WILL BE GROUNDS FOR TERMINATION OF THE RENTAL THERE WILL BE NO BOTTLED OR CANNED BEER ALLOWED AT RENTALS. ANY REFRESHMENTS SERVED FROM BOTTLES SUCH AS WINE COOLERS MUST BE SERVED FROM THE BAR IN A GLASS PROVIDED BY THE HALL. THE ONLY EXCEPTION IS A CHAMPAGNE TOAST AT A WEDDING. NO BEVERAGES OF ANY KIND ARE PERMITTED OUTSIDE OF THE FACILITY. _ WE WILL HELP ARRANGE FOR TRANSPORTATION TO A DESTINATION WITHIN A REASONABLE DISTANCE FROM THE FIRE COMPANY FOR ANY GUEST WHO MAY REQUEST IT OR WHO, IN THE OPINION OF THE BEVERAGE SERVERS OR CARETAKER, MAY REQUIRE IT. COLLINGDALE FIRE COMPANY NO.1 SHALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AT ANY TIME. RULES AND REGULATIONS CONCERNING CLEAN-UP FOR ALL CATERERS AND RESPONSIBLE PARTIES 1. CATERERS AND/OR RESPONSIBLE PARTIES ARE ASKED TO CLEAN UP THE KITCHEN AT LEAST FORTY-FIVE (45) MINUTES BEFORE THE RENTAL IS COMPLETED. YOU MUST VACATE THE PREMISES WITHIN ONE (1) HOUR AFTER THE END OF THE RENTAL 2. ALL COUNTER TOPS MUST BE WIPED DOWN 3. BOTH THE REFRIGERATOR AND FREEZER MUST BE EMPTIED COMPLETELY AND WIPED OUT BEFORE LEAVING 4. ALL TRASH MUST BE PROPERLY DISPOSED OF IN THE DUMPSTER PROVIDED OUTSIDE. TRASH BAGS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR YOUR USE. 5. THE STOVE AND OVEN MUST BE WIPED DOWN AFTER USE. 6. THE KITCHEN FLOOR MUST BE SWEPT AND MOPPED BEFORE LEAVING. THE MOP AND BUCKET WILL BE PROVIDED FOR YOUR USE. 7. CATERERS AND/OR RESPONSIBLE PARTIES ARE NOT PERMITTED TO USE THE LAUNDRY ROOM OR THE CLOAK ROOM FOR STORAGE. 8. BEFORE THEY LEAVE THE HALL, CATERERS AND/OR RESPONSIBLE PARTIES ARE TO CHECK WITH THE BEVERAGE SERVERS FOR AN INSPECTION OF THE KITCHEN. 9. SHOULD THE CATERERS AND/OR RESPONSIBLE PARTIES FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES FOR CLEAN-UP, THE HALL DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE REFUNDED TO THE CLIENT, AND SUCH DEPOSITS WILL BE USED TO COVER CLEAN-UP EXPENSES.
