James Carpentier-Levy, CFP Financial Advisor I guide Private Practices through every stage of the business evolution. From the creation of the business all the way to retirement I provide a clear path for owners to establish, grow, and maintain wealth through business ownership. Every practice goes through a natural progression of evolving needs. I have identified 7 key areas Private Practices must focus on throughout their evolution. Clients come to me when they feel the need to improve upon one of these areas. I begin by walking them through the process and options available to meet their primary goal. Once the initial area of concern is covered I help them improve upon the remaining relevant focus areas. We continue to monitor and expand on each area as the business grows. My Background James Carpentier-Levy, CFP Financial Advisor My mission is to provide clients with the lifestyles they dream of while protecting what is most meaningful and important to them. I take the time to truly get to know my clients. Understanding and communication are the foundation of a productive advisory relationship. I built my practice working with business owners, key employees, and their families. My focus on financial planning, risk-management, and balance sheet analysis is ideal for clients who have achieved some level of success, and want to improve upon and protect that success. I have been a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley since 2008, and came to the firm with previous experience in the insurance and mortgage origination industries. I hold a Bachelor s Degree in Economics with a Minor in Business Administration from Cal State San Bernardino, and have continued building my knowledge and education to increase the value and perspective I bring to clients. In this pursuit I earned the prestigious Certified Financial Planner designation in early 2012. In addition to my CFP I hold multiple securities licenses in several states and am authorized to handle Life, Health, Disability, and Long-Term-Care Insurance. The breadth of my experience and education puts me in a unique position to provide clients with a comprehensive view of their financial lives. As a California native I ve been fortunate to live throughout the state. From my childhood in San Francisco to my recent move to San Diego I appreciate all California has to offer.
