Last Date for acceptance of tender is 28.12.2012 up to 03:00 PM. 2. The Tender received after 3:00 P.M will not be accepted. 3 The Tender will be opened at 3.30 P.M. on 28.12.2012 in the presence of tenderers who may wish to be present. 4. The tenderer who wish to attend bid opening, must have to submit authorization certificate of the respective firm/ party at the time of bid opening. 5. The General Manager, India Government Mint, Kolkata does not bind himself to accept the lowest or any tender and he reserves the right to reject any offer. 6. The General Manager,India Government Mint,Kolkata does not bind himself to issue a single Job Order for the above mentioned Job Work and he reserves the right to issue seperate Job Order for above mentioned Job Work. 7. Quotation sent by e-mail or fax will not be considered unless the hard copy of quotatioreaches India Government Mint, Kolkata on or before 28.12.2012 up to 3.00 P.M. 8. Mint is not responsible for postal / courier delay. 9. Taxes & Duties if any should be mentioned separately and the details there of should be mentioned in the quotation. 10. Rate should be quoted for free delivery of the Job Work at India Govt. Mint, Kolkata. 11. Quotation and rate should be valid for 90 Days from the date of opening. 12. Tenderer must mention that they will complete the Job Work strictly as per our Scope of work. 13. If the Job Work ordered as a result of this enquiry is not completed in time, we reserve the right to cancel the order and the Job Work will be procured from any alternate source at the risk of the supplier. 14. If it is discovered that the Job Work completed is not exactly according to the Scope of Work along with Other Terms and Conditions then the Job Work will be rejected and replaced at supplier's cost. 15. Payment will be made within 30 days after completion of Job work according to scope of work and acceptance, approval of the concerned authority and subject to submission of bill in triplicate. Page 2
16. Payment will be made by e-payment only. For the purpose of e payment kindly ensures to submit the following information of your Bank details along with Quotation: I. Applicant(Remitter) Details: Account Title, Debit Account No., Account Type: Current /Saving / Cash Credit etc., II. Beneficiary Details:Beneficiary Name, Credit Account No., Centre (Location), Name of Bank along with Address & Branch Code. III. Account Type: IFSC Code, MICR Code, Email I.D. and Mobile Number of the beneficiary. 17. The General Manager, India Government Mint, Kolkata also reserves the right to cancel the tender at any stag any time without assigning any reason. 18. Please mention your VAT / Service Tax Registration No.,PAN No. 19. While submitting your offer, please return the original Tender Enquiry duly signed by you. 20. Correct Enquiry number and opening date should be super scribed on the sealed envelopes. 21. Quotation to be submitted in Indian Rupees (INR) only. 22. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): (i) (ii) (iii) (iv) The tenderer shall furnish along with its tender, earnest money for amount of Rs.6,000/-(Rupees Six Thousand only). The earnest money is required to protect India Government Mint,Kolkata against the risk of the tenderer s unwarranted conduct. The tenderers who are currently registered and, also will continue to remain registered during the tender validity period with Directorate General of Supplies & Disposals or with National Small Industries Corporation, New Delhi or with India Government Mint, Kolkata are exempted from payment of earnest money. In case the tenderer falls in these categories, it should furnish certified copy of its valid registration details (with DGS&D or NSIC or India Government Mint, Kolkata as the case may be). The earnest money shall be denominated in Indian Rupees The earnest money shall be furnished in one of the following forms: a) Account Payee Demand Draft b) Fixed Deposit Receipt c) Banker s cheque or (v) (vi) (vii) (viii) The demand draft, fixed deposit receipt or banker s cheque shall be drawn on any scheduled commercial bank in India, in favour of INDIA GOVERNMENT MINT,KOLKATA (A UNIT OF SPMCIL). The earnest money shall be valid for a period of forty five (45) days beyond the validity period of the tender. Unsuccessful tenderer s earnest monies will be returned to them without any interest, after expiry of the tender validity period, but not later than thirty days after conclusion of the resultant contract. Successful tenderer s earnest money will be returned without any interest after receipt of performance security from that tenderer. Earnest money of a tenderer will be forfeited, if the tenderer withdraws or amends its tender or impairs or derogates from the tender in any respect within the period of its tender. The successful tenderer s earnest money will be forfeited if it fails to furnish the required performance security within the specified period. Page 3

Security Deposit: (i) (ii) (iii) (iv) Within twenty one days after the issue of notification of award by India Government Mint, Kolkata the contractor/firm shall furnish performance security to India Government Mint, Kolkata for an amount equal to ten (10) per cent of the total value of the contract, valid up to 60 (sixty) days after the date of completion of all contractual obligations by the contractor/firm, including the warranty obligations. The Performance security shall be denominated in Indian Rupees or in the currency of the contract and shall be in one of the following forms: a) Account Payee Demand Draft or Fixed Deposit Receipt drawn on any commercial bank in India, in favour of INDIA GOVERNMENT MINT,KOLKATA (A UNIT OF SPMCIL) or,b) Bank Guarantee issued by a Commercial Bank in India in prescribed form as provided in Annexure II of this tender documents. In the event of any loss due to contractor/firm s failure to fulfill its obligations in terms of the contract, the amount of the performance security shall be payable to India Government Mint, Kolkata to compensate India Government Mint, Kolkata for the same. Subject to sub-clause (iii) above, India Government Mint, Kolkata will release the performance security without any interest to the contractor/firm on completion of the contractor/ firm s all contractual obligations including the warranty obligations. 24. Liquidated damages: - If the supplier fails to deliver any or all of the goods or fails to perform the services within the time frame in corporated in the contract, India Government Mint,Kolkata shall, without prejudice to other rights and remedies available to India Government Mint,Kolkata under the contract,deduct from the contract price,as liquidated damages,a sum equivalent to the 0.5% of the delivered price of the delayed goods and/or services for each week of delay or part thereof until actual delivery or performance,subject to a maximum deduction of the 10% of the delayed goods or services contract price. 25. The tenderer is requested to go through all the terms and conditions along with the Scope of Work of the tender enquiry before he responds. 26. This tender enquiry is not transferable. Unsigned tenders will be rejected. 27. Under no circumstances, the change in the price or substance of the bid is allowed or permitted during the validity period of the offer. If the tenderer on their own varies or alters the price or any conditions of their offer already quoted after opening of the tender enquiry, such tender enquiry shall be rejected without any further reference. 28. No CONDITIONAL TENDER shall be accepted.
