Port Freeport is a key supporter of the Coastal Conservation Association of Brazoria County. Since 2001, the Port has sponsored its Annual Take-A-Child Fishing Tournament. This year 308 anglers registered and 683 fish were weighed. Port Freeport has collected items to donate to Brazosport Cares Pantry every year and has raised over $110,000 through golf tournaments to benefit various organizations.
