FAQ s When is the qualification period? 1 July 2014 to 31 December 2014 and is open to all Consultants in Australia and New Zealand How do I earn Points? By Selling & Team Building! 1. Personal Sales Points: Earn 1 point for every 1PV dollar achieved e.g. 1,000PV = 1,000 SHINE points. July Bonus month PV doubled. 2. New Team Member (Newbie) Bonus Points: FunStart 1 Achiever = 2,000 points + FunStart 2 Achiever = 2,500 points + FunStart 3 Achiever = 3,000 points Total points possible per Newbie = 7,500! What are the rewards? 1. Diamond earrings valued at AUD $1,200 = 8,000 points (inc. 1x Newbie who achieves FS1 min) 2. Breville Nespresso = 35,000 points (inc. 1x Newbie) 3. Diamond necklace valued at AUD $3,000 = 50,000 points (inc. 2x Newbies) 4. All-inclusive Club Med Malaysia = 60,000 points (inc. 3x Newbies) 5. + Bring your partner to Club Med = 100,000 points (inc. 3x Newbies) When is the trip to Malaysia, and what does it include? The trip to Malaysia will be held between the 13-17 April 2015 for 4 nights at Club Med Cherating Beach, Malaysia. Consultants who achieve this trip must travel on the dates set for the whole group of achievers. Do I need to maintain my business? Yes. You must be active in January, February and March 2015. What about my partner? To take your lucky partner with you to Malaysia, you are required achieve over 100,000 Shine points and 3 x Newbies that complete FunStart Level 1 by the end of December 2014. If I do not achieve the qualification criteria to bring my partner for free, can he/she pay to come along? No. This is an incentive trip so to bring your partner you will need to achieve the Partner Criteria. If you re a Group Leader or above, you will have the option of paying for your partner to attend in recognition of your seniority and your partner s ongoing support of your business. Badge Title GL+ who are Paid As their title in December 2014 and who personally achieve the trip reward may choose to pay for their partner to attend the trip with them. Cost of Partner to be confirmed in early 2015.
Can my partner be my mum/grandma/aunt? How do you define a partner? Partner is defined as an adult who has a long-term relationship by marriage or de facto with the Consultant, Coordinator or Leader. Can I bring my kids/grandkids? No, unfortunately this incentive trip does not cater for children we want you to let your hair down and enjoy your reward! How will I know how I m tracking? The Shine A3 tracker was given to all Consultants at Sales Meeting in June and is also available on My Toolbox. Speak to your Group Manager to confirm. You are responsible for tracking your own progress. What if I can t make it on those dates will The Chefs Toolbox pay for me to attend Malaysia another time? Unfortunately, as we make bulk arrangements for a group, we are unable to make separate bookings for individuals. I live in a regional area; will my flights be from my closest capital city or my local regional airport? As this is an overseas trip, all airfares will be from the following capital city closest you only. Capital cities are; Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Hobart, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, Auckland. You will need to make your own travel arrangements to your closest capital city. Please note: Final flight details will not be available until late March 2015. It is advised that when planning your interstate/regional travel & pre/post event accommodation that you wait until the final itinerary has been issued. Some regional flights may not connect with your international flights. The Chefs Toolbox will not be held responsible for any expenses regarding your pre/post travel arrangements. Will The Chefs Toolbox cover my pre/post event accommodation? No, this is not included in the incentive and will be at your own cost. Can I extend my stay outside the set dates? As we make bulk travel arrangements (all travel arrangements include airfares and accommodation) for a group, we are unable to make separate bookings on behalf of individuals. Can I upgrade my travel or accommodation at my own expense? As we have made a group booking, this is not possible. When I qualify what are my costs? This incentive is a reward for your hard work and the package will include most of your needs; Return international flights from your closest capital city, accommodation at Club Med, some meals & beverages, entertainment, training etc. As is normal on business trips, you will need to cover your own personal costs such as travel insurance, passport, airline meals and beverages (where applicable), mini-bar consumption, telephone/internet use in your hotel room, meals or drinks outside planned conference functions, laundry, in-house movies, any medical costs, etc. No Visa or vaccinations are required for this trip.
Travel Insurance To be part of this fantastic experience it is a requirement that each attending Consultant and Partner have comprehensive travel insurance, that will cover you for flight cancellations, lost baggage, additional expenses, medical needs etc. (please also be aware that not all insurances automatically cover you for any pre-existing medical conditions.) Insurance must be purchased immediately after the trip has been achieved. The Chefs Toolbox will not be arranging individual travel insurance. This will be at your own cost. Please note that ALL travel insurance details will be required when completing your online registration form in March 2015. Any Travel Insurance claims that need to be reimbursed to The Chefs Toolbox must be processed through or with the consultation of The Chefs Toolbox-contracted travel agent. Is there a cancellation fee if I have registered to attend Malaysia? Yes. The fee is AUD $2,750 which may be covered by your insurance. Passport Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry to the Shine 2015 destination. If you cannot fulfil this requirement, you may not be allowed to enter the country. Please note that ALL valid Passport details will be required when completing your online registration form in March 2015, so why not get your passport organised now to avoid the last minute rush! Am I required to have fun? ABSOLUTELY! It is essential that all delegates have a good time and smile That won t be hard!
