Slide 3 Reserves Central Home Page: Current Maintenance Period 10000001 1111 BANK A Observation: The home page is the starting point for you to access your institution s reserve information, and provides summary information on your Reserve Balance Requirement, Penalty-Free Band, and Average Balance. The home page defaults to the current 14-day Maintenance Period and reflects data as of the current day. Note: The screen shot shows the fifth day of a current 14-day period for an institution that manages a master account. 3

Reservable Liabilities Report Bank A This report displays sevenday totals of FR 2900 report items that are used in the calculation of the Reserve Requirement. Note: FR2900Q reporters will only see one week s worth of data. The screen shot depicts data for an institution that files the FR 2900 weekly. A weekly reporter s Reserve Requirement is based on two weeks of FR 2900 data. 1111

Slide 3 Reserves Central Home Page: Current Maintenance Period The Penalty-Free Band is a range on both sides of an institution s Reserve Balance Requirement within which an institution must maintain balances on average over the period to satisfy its Reserve Balance Requirement. The Bottom of Penalty-Free Band is the Reserve Balance Requirement, less a dollar amount equal to the greater of 10 percent of the Reserve Balance Requirement or $50,000. The Bottom of Penalty-Free Band will not be set below zero. 1111 BANK A The Top of Penalty-Free Band is the Reserve Balance Requirement, plus a dollar amount equal to the greater of 10 percent of the Reserve Balance Requirement or $50,000. Balance Detail Bank A 1111 The screen shot depicts an account with daily ending balances available for the first four days of the period. The Average Balance is equal to the Sum of Daily Balances divided by four. 14
Home Page: View Prior Maintenance Period(s) InstitutionABA RSSD ID 1111 Bank A To select a prior period, use the drop-down menu. To view prior periods, click the View Prior Periods radio button. 15
Prior Maintenance Periods Select an Interest or Charge amount for more details. 1111 Bank A In this example, we selected $2,623.32 from the past Maintenance Period beginning on 10/15/2015. Interest and Charge in Past Maintenance Periods Payment of Interest occurs one business day after a period ends. A Charge is assessed five business days after a period ends.
Interest and Charge Detail Bank A The top portion of this report displays Interest payment details. 1111 All transactions for this period will be displayed here, along with the transaction date. The bottom portion of this report would display Charge details. In this example, no Charge detail appears because the institution was not deficient in its Reserve Balance Requirement. 17
Home Page: View a Future Maintenance Period You may also select a future maintenance period from the drop-down menu. 1111 BANK A Click on Own Reserve Balance Requirement hyperlink to view the Reserve Requirement report for a future period. A Reserve Balance Requirement will be available seven business days before a maintenance period start date.
