CONTEST RULES Christmas Contest! (The Contest ) From December 12 th, 2017 at 12AM to December 26 th, 2017 at 11:59PM EST (The Contest period ) 1. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY No purchase required. To enter the Contest, visit www.sinoramaholidays.com (The Website ) from December 12 th, 2017 at 12AM to December 26 st, 2017 at 11:59PM EST. Contestants must submit their response on the participation form of the Website and provide their name and all required information (the Participation ) To be valid, Entries must be received by December 26 st, 2017 at 11:59PM, Eastern Time. Limit of one Entry per person, per email address. The same email address cannot be used by more than one contestant. Only one email address may be used to enter the Contest, no matter of the number of email addresses held by the contestant. Anyone who participates or attempts to enter the Contest more than once or who uses a robotic, automatic, mechanical, electronic or other unauthorized duplication method under these rules will be deemed as tempering or manipulation, which will automatically result in disqualification. All contestants content becomes the property of Sinorama and will not be returned to contestants. 2. CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY Contestants must reside in Canada and have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence as of the start of the Contest.
The employees of Sinorama and its affiliates, as well as their family members (father-mother, brother-sister, son-daughter) and people living under the same roof as them are not eligible for the Contest. 3. METHOD OF AWARDING PRIZES The draw for the grand prize winner will be held on December 28 st, 2017 at 12:00 pm EST, in Montreal, at Sinorama office using a third-party application. A random selection will be conducted from all entries recorded in accordance with Sections 1, and 2, to award the grand prize. Winners must claim their prize according to Sinorama's instructions within seven (7) days following the draw. If the prize is not claimed within this period, or if a person incorrectly answers the mathematical skill-testing question, refuses the prize, or fails to return the completed certificate and release form, the prize will automatically be forfeited, and Sinorama may, in its sole discretion, select a new winner. 4. DESCRIPTION OF THE PRICE One (1) grand prize will be awarded, consisting of the travel package Springtime of China (Yellow Mountain) 10 days 2018 for two (2) people, including: International air tickets from Montreal, Toronto or Vancouver Domestic transport in China (flight and bus) Overnight accommodation in double occupancy in a 5-star hotel, at the discretion of Sinorama Fifteen (15) meals English speaking guide Taxes and fees of the Travel Agent Client Compensation Fund (FICAV) ($ 1 per $ 1,000) Service charges for local guides, drivers and portal fees at hotels. The itinerary of the tour: Shanghai - Hangzhou - Nanxun Village - Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) - Nanping Village - Shanghai, but may be subject to change. The prize includes what is specifically described herein only and no other allowance is granted. The winner and the accompanying person must, but not be limited to, cover all of the following expenses:
Food and beverage expenses not included in the itinerary; Transportation costs to and from the winner's home at the airport Activity fees during the stay, especially optional tours, other than those included in the price description; Cost for obtaining a Chinese visa (CAD $ 180 per person, subject to change, please note that is fees varies if the person does not hold a Canadian passport); Additional charges on the plane (earphones, alcohol, etc.); Excess baggage charges, if applicable; The insurance; All personal expenses. The available departure dates are: March 2nd, 2018 March 3rd, 2018 March 9th, 2018 March 16th, 2018 Available Airports are: Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver. Fee added for other departures in Canada: Ottawa ($ 100 per person), Quebec City ($ 100 per person), Calgary ($ 200 per person), Edmonton ($ 200 per person), Victoria ($ 200 per person), Halifax ($ 300 per person), Moncton ($ 300 per person), Winnipeg ($ 300 per person), Kelowna ($ 300 per person), Fredericton ($ 500 per person), Charlottetown ($ 500 per person), St-John's ($ 500 per person), St. john ($ 500 per person), Saskatoon ($ 500 per person), or Regina ($ 500 per person).
From the date of the draw, the winner has one (1) month to finalize the booking of his/her trip with Sinorama. The available dates are subject to change by Sinorama. The winner and the person going with him / her must hold or obtain at their own expense a valid passport. In the event that the winner and the person accompanying him/her are not available because they do not have the necessary documents to travel, the prize is canceled without any form of compensation. It is the winner's responsibility to confirm the flight schedule twenty-four (24) hours prior to departure. In the event of non-boarding of the winner and the person accompanying him for the flight to go or return and for any reason whatsoever, Sinorama disclaims any liability and all costs related to this non-boarding on the outward or return trip such as hotel, restaurant, taxi, telephone and absence from work expenses. All these costs will be borne by the winner and cannot be the subject of a claim with Sinorama. Total and approximate value of the prize is $ 6,198. 5. GENERAL RULES 5.1. To be declared a winner, the selected contestant must first correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question. 5.2. The winner shall sign a release declaring their eligibility to the Contest, as stipulated in Section 2 of these Rules; agreeing that their name, image and/or voice may be used for advertising purposes related to this Contest free of charge; and releasing Sinorama and its affiliates, as well as their respective directors, officers and employees (the Contest Organizers ) from all liability for any damage or loss arising from participation in this Contest or from the awarding, acceptance or use of the prize. Anyone accompanying the winner in connection with the prize shall sign a release agreeing that their name, image and/or voice may be used for advertising purposes related to this Contest free of charge, and releasing the Contest Organizers from all liability for any damage or loss arising from use of the prize. 5.3. The prize shall be accepted as is and may not be exchanged or refunded for an amount of money, sold or transferred. No substitutions will be allowed. Any unused portion of a prize will be
forfeited. If the winner (and his / her guest) is unable to travel on the designated dates, choosing another available date may result in additional fees due to the difference in price. The winner and his / her guest must pay the difference between the two departure dates. 5.4. Sinorama assumes no responsibility if the prize or part of the prize is delayed, canceled or changed. If the value of the changed package (or the changed cabin) is less than that of the original package, no compensation will be awarded. If it is impossible to provide a prize exactly as described in these rules, the Contest Organizers reserve the right to substitute a prize or item of approximately equivalent value in their sole discretion. 5.5. Refusal to accept the prize releases the Contest Organizers from any obligation toward the winner. 5.6. If a contestant makes any false statement, (s)he will be automatically disqualified from the Contest. 5.7. The Contest Organizers assume no liability for any loss, damage or injury, including without limitation:(i) lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late, destroyed, illegible or incomplete entries; (ii) loss, theft or damage to software or computer or telephone data, including any breach of privacy; (iii) fraudulent calls; (iv) inability of any person to participate in the Contest for any reason including mistaken addresses on mail or e-mail; technical, computer or telephone malfunctions or other problems with computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, or software; congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination of the foregoing; (v) damage to any person s computer, including as a result of playing or downloading any material relating to the Contest; (vi) any delay or inability to act resulting from an event or situation beyond their control, including a strike, lockout or other labor dispute at their location or the locations of the organizations and businesses whose services are used to administer this Contest; or (vii) prizes that are lost, damaged or misdirected during shipping. 5.8. When the Contest Rules allow entry via Facebook, Twitter or any other social network, the terms of use for these social networks apply and the social network, as well as its directors and officers, assume no liability whatsoever in connection with the Contest. The processing of personal information and materials provided as part of participation in the Contest is the sole responsibility of Sinorama. 5.9. Sinorama reserves the right to cancel or suspend this Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond their reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Sinorama reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution..
5.10. All personal information provided by the contestants, such as name and contact information, is collected by Sinorama solely for the purposes of administering this Contest and shall not be used for any other purpose without your express consent. If the identity of a contestant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the contestant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected contestant may be required to provide proof that (s)he is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Contest will be the Contest server. 5.12. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, using any robotic, automatic programmed method that artificially increases the odds of winning or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by Sinorama. Sinorama is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Contest. 5.13. Sinorama reserves all the rights to amend and explain the Contest Rules or to terminate the Contest at any time without any liability to any contestant.
