CARE QUARTERLY ISSUE 16 Dear All, Welcome to another edition of CQ. Our regular readers will know that we like to focus on a specific theme each quarter to ensure CQ is fresh and engaging. It s been a tricky decision this time around and in the end, we ve gone with a theme of new beginnings. With the end of the year fast approaching, we thought it would be a good time to start thinking of your 2017 New Year resolutions, at the very least it may avoid any last-minute panic decisions over the festive period! We also thought it was an ideal time for you to review your 2016 resolutions, to see how successful you have been so far. As a starter for ten, I ll kick things off. My main 2016 resolutions for JW Seagon were to launch our new website and a new international health insurance plan. I m delighted to say that we have done both and gone one step further - we ve also made two new additions to our senior management team. So change is well and truly in the air at JW Seagon, and as always we rely on your feedback to tell us what you think of this edition of CQ and our new beginnings. NEW LOOK WEBSITE As mentioned in David s opening blurb, we have been planning to update our website for a while now and formally made it an objective for 2016. The new website which went live in August sees a whole new look for JW Seagon which closer reflects our local knowledge, global outlook approach. In terms of functionality, the new site has been optimised to work across all different devices, with a clear and consistent interface for your convenience. Customers can also complete quote forms for all products, which allows us to source the best options in the market based on their specific responses/needs, before responding with prompt and comprehensive quotations.

Simon has taken up the position of Group Head of Medical and will be based in our Mauritius office. Simon is highly experienced in the health insurance arena and comes to JW Seagon with an impressive CV; most notably he recently held senior positions with both Bupa UK and Bupa Global. Bupa is a company which is synonymous with health and wellbeing and one that we share a strong working relationship with so it was a great fit all round. Simon s overall objective is to oversee and develop the health insurance arm of JW Seagon while keeping a firm eye on enhancing our customer experience at every point of contact. Simon and his wife (Rebecca) are currently re-locating from the Celebration time We think it s only fair that our new beginnings should be celebrated with the people that matter most our customers. We re planning to hold some events at our various offices with the aim of building even better relationships. These events will be informal, fun and well-stocked with food and drink! He is based in Mauritius where he oversees the Group Finance, Treasury and IT functions. After completing his studies as a Chartered Certified Accountant in the UK, Harish worked in public practice in London where he obtained his membership of the ACCA. He also holds a Master s Degree in Business Systems at the City University, London. Passionate about insurance and risks coupled with the opportunity to work with a leading regional insurance broker, the move to JW Seagon was a natural fit.
