Page 3 April 30, 2015 Summary Client Statements are now accessible directly from OEC Trader via the Reports menu. Customers will be able to pull up to 90 days of Daily statements and all Monthly statements for the current year. The number of Monthly statements available will be expanded at a later time. Instructions 1. To access account statements, go to Reports > Statements and select either Daily or Monthly Statements. 2. Select your account number in the dropdown list or pick All for access to all accounts assigned to your username. Next, choose a time period from the drop down list or use a Custom period of up to 90 days at a time.
Page 4 April 30, 2015 3. Click on the View button to populate available statements within the requested date range. A PDF link will appear to the right of the Trade date. Click on the link to download the statement. 4. Alternatively, you can click on PDF or ZIP buttons for quick access to statements as a bundled file. In other words, the platform will assemble all statements of the requested date range into one file. 5. Statements that have been downloaded from the server will be placed in the lower tray, see image below. Click on the name of the items to open the PDF or ZIP file. Or, click on the black arrow to select Open or Save As. To remove the item from the tray, click on the option Close.
Page 5 April 30, 2015 Statements Explained Our statement format has five main sections. 1. Trade Confirmations: This is a listing of all future and option transactions made as of the date indicated. 2. Purchase and Sale: A listing of offsetting transactions and the resulting profit/loss information. 3. Journal Entries: A listing of all cash transactions affecting the account s ledger balance. This section may list any third party software fees, market data fees, management fees, etc.
Page 6 April 30, 2015 4. Open Positions: A listing of all open positions with trade prices, current settlement prices and unrealized profits or losses. Securities on deposit and market value are also shown. 5. Account Summary: All relevant financial totals are summarized by individual currency. All currencies will be summarized in US dollar, this is what we call Base Currency USD.

New Cash Balance represents the amount before any positions are considered The unrealized gain/loss from open futures positions, value at Settlement price This figure is New Cash Balance including Open Trade Equity The present value of option positions, summarizes long and short The present value of long option positions The present value of short option positions The total account value of cash and open positions, if liquidated at Settlement price The required amount to meet a margin call The amount that would trigger a margin call The required amount to meet a margin call, with options values included The amount that would trigger a margin call, with options values included If an account has Treasury Notes, Bonds, or physical commodity used for collateral, the value used towards margin will be reported here If a debit number, the amount needed to meet a margin call.
