Terms of Cover Coach Plus Breakdown provides reimbursement following accident or breakdown. Important Note: this policy does not provide any assistance in respect of breakdown. The insured must organise their own recovery, repairs and passenger assistance; keeping receipts for everything paid. See the Summary of Cover on page 6 or refer to the Coach Plus Breakdown Policy for details of the cover provided. Eligibility Any passenger derived commercial vehicle registered in the UK or the Channel Islands of recognised manufacture. The insured vehicle must be kept in a roadworthy condition and serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's specification and must not carry more than the recommended number of passengers. Policy Cancellation Terms There is a 'cooling off' period where, should the insured decide that the terms and conditions do not meet their requirements and provided they have not travelled, made a claim or intend to make a claim on the policy, if they advise us within 14 days of purchase, we will provide a full refund. Please note cancellation rights are no longer valid after this initial14 day period, however subject to circumstances a partial refund may be agreed - referral to Underwriter may be required. If the trip has been cancelled by the Tour Operator: Time on risk charged at 35% (unless within the 14 days). We reserve the right to give 7 days notice of cancellation of this policy, without refund, by recorded delivery to the last known address in the event of: fraud, suspected fraud, misleading information or deliberate misrepresentation. Trip Duration No more than 31 days on any one trip (minimum duration 24 hours). Age Limit Not more than 7 years old at commencement of the journey. Vehicles aged 8 15 years may be covered on application. Premium Guide Rating Basis The premium is based on the total number of days the vehicles will be used during a 12 month period. UK Vehicles under 8 years old 11.60 per day inc IPT (10%) Europe Vehicles under 8 years old - 23.19 per day Inc IPT (10%) Premium Notes All trips must include at least 1 overnight stay. Premiums are calculated on the estimated number of 'coach days' during a 12 month period for vehicles under 8 years old. Vehicles 8 to 15 years may be considered (subject to a satisfactory claims experience) on application. In this event the premium per day will be increased by 50%.
