COMMUNITY ROOM (BHC) takes great pride in being the central gathering place for our local communities. We acknowledge the integral role we play in servicing our neighbors and strive to be the main gathering place for all your important events. Our Community Room offers a communal environment to discuss and engage in local issues that are relevant to our neighborhood. This 2,000 sq. ft. of space provides a place to strengthen the relationships between local business partners, community groups, non-profits and residents. BASIC INFORMATION LOCATION Located on the first floor of the mall, closest to Sears, beside the LAPD substation. CAPACITY 75 people (2,000 square feet) HOURS Available during shopping center hours. Please see http://www.baldwinhillscrenshawplaza.com/hours for more information. Hours may vary during holiday season or on national holidays. RESERVING A DATE AND TIME Community Room must be booked a minimum of 5 days in advance. May be booked up to 90 days in advance. First-come, first-serve. CANCELLATIONS To receive a full refund all cancellations must be done no less than 48 hours prior to scheduled date. Otherwise, 25% of your initial deposit will be deducted.

Depending upon the type of event, additional fees may apply. In addition to the payment, a $250 security deposit is required for all registrants to secure your date(s). Security deposits will be refunded if the condition of the room is satisfactory. Public Safety will review the room and report to mall management. Deposits will be refunded within 10 business days after the event, assuming you have submitted your completed W-9 with your application. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS When submitting a completed application, registrants must provide a valid California driver s license or California identification to verify contact information. Contact mall management at 323-290-6636 to check your requested date(s) for availability. If date is available it may be tentatively scheduled pending approval from mall management. EQUIPMENT has the following equipment available for use for the duration of your booking: (60) chairs (6) six-foot tables (1) podium (1) PA system (microphone not included) Restrooms are located immediately outside the Community Room. Any additional equipment needed must be rented from a rental company at the user s expense. No equipment, e.g., chairs, tables, etc. may be brought from your home. Extra care must be exercised in the use of the Community Room and all equipment borrowed. In the event of any missing or broken equipment or any notable unseemliness, your organization will be fully liable to reimburse as follows: $35 per chair $75 per table $155 per podium $250 for carpet repairs SPECIAL NOTE BHC is responsible for all setup and takedown of BHC equipment. FOOD POLICY Any group bringing food in is responsible for their own clean up.
