TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE OF OUR BANK CARS BY TENDER CUM AUCTION Tenders have already been invited by Corporation Bank for tender cum auction sale of our Bank cars that were being used by the Bank. The details of which have been already advertised. 1. The person interested in bidding shall have to submit the tender application in the prescribed form to SSD Department, Zonal Office, Delhi South before 3:00 p.m., i.e., the day of opening tenders and conduct of auction. 2. The application for tender/auction for each vehicle should be in closed cover with the name of the tenderer and Registration No. of vehicle written on the envelope. The application will be received by the Office, from 10 a.m. up to 3 p.m. and will be opened at the venue/time advertised and will be followed by auction. 3. The application should accompany the EMD of Rs. 5000/- while submitting the tender for Vehicle. 4. Separate application for each vehicle along with separate PO/DD for EMD amount shall be submitted by tenderers. 5. Only the persons who have submitted their tender in the prescribed form along with EMD shall be eligible to participate in the auction that will follow the opening of the sealed tender received. 6. The sale of tender cum auction will commence from 30.11.2013. Last date for receipt of offers is Monday, 13 th January,2014 at 3.00 PM. 7. Only the persons who have submitted tender will be admitted to the venue of auction. All the applicants have to attend the auction in person. 8. If under exceptional circumstances if any person having submitted his tender is not able to attend the auction, he can depute his proxy/representative along with a letter addressed to the DGM, Zonal Office, Delhi South attesting his signature and confirming his identity. 9. The Bank reserves the right to accept or reject the highest tender received or bid made without assigning any reason therefor. 10. The successful bidders shall have to remit/pay 25% of the accepted bid amount (EMD can be reckoned) immediately on acceptance of the bid by the Bank and the balance amount shall be paid within 7 days of acceptance of the bid by the bank. The EMD of the highest bidder who fails to deposit 25% of his bid shall be fully forfeited. 11. The amount deposited (i.e., 25%) by successful tenderer/bidder shall be forfeited in full in case he does not remit the balance amount in full as required, within the stipulated time. 12. If Bank has not received any tender in respect of a vehicle or Bank has received only one tender in respect of a vehicle, if the tender is not acceptable to the Bank, if shall be competent for the Bank to sell the vehicle by auction at the very venue, if there are any other bidder/bidders willing
to bid is required to tender the EMD then and there before the commencement of the tendered amount by the Bank. 13. Sales tax or any other tax, if any, in respect of the vehicle, shall be payable by the successful bidders and Bank will not entertain any claim whatsoever in this respect. 14. The vehicles are being sold in as is where is condition. 15. The person whoever is participating in the auction that will follow after the opening of the sealed tenders for a particular vehicle, will have to affix his signature in the bid sheet in token of his participation in the auction. 16. The vehicle and the relative documents will be delivered to the successful bidder after 7 days, on payment of the entire bid amount on getting approval from the competent authority. 17. The decision of the auction committee is final, in case of disputes of any nature, arising during the auction. 18. EMD of all the unsuccessful bidders except the two highest bidders will be returned on the spot after the tenders are opened/after auction. 19. The auctioned vehicle should be removed within 7 days from the date of acceptance of the final bid. If not the auction shall be cancelled and the EMD & 25% advance paid shall be forfeited. 20. The auctioned vehicle/s shall be allowed to be taken only after proper approval of DGM, Zonal Office/appropriate authority and full payment and issue of proper gate pass by the Security Department at Zonal Office. 21.
