The scorecards were used for the actual validation workshop on June 2016. Please provide a brief summary of the workshop (What were the key issues raised during the workshop? ) The process of preparation of the Tonga PPCR Results report included a number of activities: 1. On June 1-2, 2016, a two-day workshop on M&E of the core PPCR indicators was held in Tonga by the Tongan PPCR Secretariat and the PMU Team with support from the Asian Development Bank and the Climate investment Funds. The key workshop objective was to enhance participants knowledge and skills on monitoring and evaluating of climate resilience projects and programs in TONGA and develop PPCR progress reports in accordance with the CIF reporting requirements for PPCR pilot countries. M&E experts and specialists of the PPCR projects in Tajikistan, members of the PPCR technical working group comprising representatives of the ministries of MAFFF, energy and water resources, education, health, and non-government organizations participated in the workshop. The workshop was also attended by the CIF M&E Specialist, Mr. Kouassi Emmanuel Kouadio, and the CDTA M&E International Consultant, Mr. Bruce Ravesloot. Thirty-four participants attended the workshop. The workshop provided a unique opportunity to improve participants competencies for monitoring and evaluating climate resilience projects. During the workshop, participants identified: (i) solutions for selected bottlenecks and system gaps for the individual PPCR projects; (ii) common M&E processes and outputs for national reporting across the PPCR projects, and other projects that may be included in the future; and (iii) ways to update the current CIF/national reporting tools to reflect the decisions made during the workshop.. 2. On June 1-4, 2016, on behalf of the PPCR Secretariat, the preliminary results of evaluation of the key PPCR indicators 1 and 2 at the national level were sent for consideration to the members of the technical working group comprising representatives of the Ministry of Finance and National Planning, Ministry of Energy, Information, Disaster, Environment, Climate Change and Communication, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Health and Internal Affairs, and nongovernment organizations.. At the request of the PPCR Secretariat, the preliminary results of evaluation of the key indicators,4 and 5 (PPCR projects level) were received by August, 2016. 4. On June 1-4, 2016, a round table (Scoring Workshop) was held with the M&E experts of the PPCR projects, consultants of the Project «Technical Assistance on Climate Resilience Capacity Building», technical working group members, and non-government organizations (total of 50 participants). The participants reviewed the shortcomings of the Tonga 2014 report to the CIF, and discussed amendments that could be incorporated to improve the plan, structure of the report, and to ensure more broader engagement of stakeholders, including the civil society, in the preparation of the 2015 report. The participants discussed the CIF indicators and the internal monitoring system of the PPCR to assess the availability of data for the 2015 Report The participants also discussed the preliminary plan of the 2015 report preparation process based Have you shared the results of the scoring workshop to a wider in-country stakeholder group (e.g. an annual multistakeholder national-level steering committee and/or stock-taking meeting on the implementation of the PPCR investment plan)? The participants in the scoring workshop included a wide range of senior officials, who shared the results within their own institutions. The validated scoring results were shared with the PPCR focal point, Ms Saane Lolo, Principal Economist, MoFNP and Lu'isa T. Malolo, the Director for Climate Change, MEIDECC Prior to the submission of the scoring workshop results to the CIF, The results of evaluation were also sent to the members of the technical working group, and will be posted on the Climate Change Department website should approved.
