2. Selecting the Miscellaneous Fees A. Selecting Period: 2013. 8. 12(Mon) 9:00 AM ~ 8. 19(Mon) 17:00 PM B. Procedure 1)For Students = Yonsei Portal System(http://portal.yonsei.ac.kr/main/index.jsp) Log in The main Portal Service > Tuition and Payment Registration > Print/Registration Click 'the Miscellaneous Fees' Browse/Registration Print the bill C. Note 1) Students must select the miscellaneous fees during the designated period on the yonsei portal system. 2) Student can change their choices about the miscellaneous fees after clicking the 'Temporary save' button. 3) After clicking 'Print the bill' button, students cannot change their choices about the miscellaneous fees at all. 4) Students can print the bill and check their tuition waivers, scholarships at 'Browse/Registration' menu on the same screen. 3. Printing the bills A. It is possible to print it from 2013. 8. 12(Mon) 9:00 AM B. Procedure = Visit Yonsei Portal System (http://portal.yonsei.ac.kr/main/sso/indexe.jsp) Main academic service undergraduate/graduate school tuition pay Log in Registration Print/Registration Browse/Registration Print the bill 4. Methods of payment A. Make an accurate deposit of the total tuition amount (Yon cannot pay in installment.) 1) One virtual deposit account is provided for each student. Registration can be made automatically even if the deposit in the virtual account is made by another person. B. It is possible to pay through internet banking, phone banking, ATM transfer, and at the bank counter. 1) Remittance charge may be generated in the event other banks excluding Woori bank. 2) It is not possible to pay through accounts of certain nonmonetary institutions e.g. a CMA account. 3) It is impossible to return payment for changing payment methods. C. Installment payment: See 10. Installment payment D. Credit Card (Woori Card ONLY, Debit cards and Corporate cards cannot be used.) 1) Pay at the Woori Bank branches with printed bill

A way of using the Korea student Aid Foundation A. Period of the loan application : 2013. 7. 10 ~ 2013. 9. 9 (9:00 AM ~ 24:00 PM) B. Period of the loan approvals: 2013. 8. 23 ~ 8. 30 or 2013. 9. 12 ~ 9. 16 (9:00 AM ~ 17:00 PM) (It is ONLY possible to approve the loans during the registration period.) C. Process of the loan application 1) Step 1 = Apply for a loan 2) Step 2 = Judge applicant s qualifications and recommendation for a loan 3) Step 3 = Loan approval 4) Step 4 = Make agreement with paying & transferring loans 5) Step 5 = Payment of the loan A) Students apply for a loan using an authentication certificate on Korea Student Aid Foundation (www.kosaf.go.kr) homepage. Students had better apply for a loan in advance to allow for a period of judging applicant s qualifications for a loan. - The loan approval will take about 5 to 7 days. - But the foundation does not handle the works about students loans which are judging one s qualifications for a loan on Saturday, Sunday and national holidays. B) Students may submit necessary documents in case of need to Korea Student Aid Foundation ( KOSAF ) or University. C) Loan approval D) The foundation loan your tuition for the period of paying tuition - Please students observe the time limit about payment of loan because the closing time of payment for a loan is 5:00 PM. If students observe the time limit, payment of their loan will be successful. D. Note 1) If you take time off from school after you are enrolled the school by loans, your tuition will be returned to the foundation. Please check your status about payment. 2) Enrolled students cannot apply student s loan to the foundation if students already enrolled the school. 3) Be well-informed of the application process and a few things that you need to be aware of loans. 4) Please the students make inquires about asking receiving applications and qualification of government s guaranteed loans to customer service center of the

Korea Students Foundation. (T. 1599-2000) 6. Payment Verification A. Process of printing payment verification =Go to Yonsei University Portal System (http://portal.yonsei.ac.kr/main/sso/indexe.jsp) The main portal system Tuition and payment Registration > Print/Registration Print payment verification Select Year/Semester Print B. Tuition payment verification SMS = A SMS is sent to the contract phone number entered into the Yonsei Portal System after the payment of tuition. Please correct your personal information in the Yonsei Portal System if there is any change of the contact number. 7. Refund of tuition A. If students do not finish the semester and apply for a leave of absence(including joining the army) or quitting the school after paying the tuition, the basic date for refund refers to a chart below. Period of taking leave of absence/quitting school Tuition refund ~ 9. 16 Full refund of tuition 9. 17 10. 1 5/6 refund of tuition 10. 2 10. 31 2/3 refund of tuition NOTE 11. 1 11. 14 1/2 refund of tuition Closing date of application for a general leave of absence: 2013. 11. 14 But taking a leave of absence because of illness or quitting school until 2013. 12. 2(Mon) will 1/2 refund of tuition. 8. Students returning to school A. Students who apply for returning to school can print the bill after 1 hour since approval of returning to school has been approved. B. Primary and secondary applicants are able to register in additional registration period. C. In case of students who have been absent from school because of joining the army paid the tuition before 2007-2 nd semetser! 1) Print the bill in 2013. 8. 23(Fri). 2) If this message the registration has been completed print, your registration completed.

9. Students taking extra semesters A. Tuition for students taking an extra semester Registered Credits Tuition 1 3 credit(s) 1/3 tuition 4 6 credits 2/3 tuition 7 credits Full tuition Students who enrolled Research Enrollment 1/8 tuition without credit(s) B. After changing period of enrollment in classes you can print the bill from 2013. 9. 12(Thurs) C. Students can ONLY register for additional registration period from 2013. 9. 12 (Thurs) to 2013. 9. 16(Mon). D. Applicants of students loans among students taking extra semester are able to get loans about regulated tuition on the basic of registered credits. E. Installment payment applicants among students taking extra semesters pay the first installment on the original period of enrollment(2013. 8. 23 ~ 2013. 8. 30) after printing bills from 2013. 8. 12(Mon) In case of students who are not taking extra semesters! No matter how many credits students are taking, students must pay full tuition! F. There is no refund of tuition under no circumstances even though you drop your classes after you paid your tuition for the additional period of sign up for classes. 10. Applicants for installment payment A. Application period: 2013. 6. 28(Fri) ~ 2013. 8. 16(Fri) 1) Go to Yonsei Portal System(http://portal.yonsei.ac.kr/main/sso/indexe.jsp) Main Academic Service Registration Click on Apply for installment (Cancelation of installments is the same procedure) 2) Students cannot apply to pay in installments or cancel their application after the application period(2013. 6. 28 ~ 2013. 8. 16) at all. B. Note 1) Cannot pay the tuition by credit card if paying in installments 2) Installment payment is cancelled if the 1 st installment is not paid within the appropriate period and the total amount must be paid on the additional application period(2013. 9. 12 ~ 2013. 9. 16). 3) Application for the installments payment plan will be canceled if the registration period for installment payment is not followed. 4) Cannot complete the relevant semester according to school regulations if the tuition is not paid. 5) Students returning to school can apply for installment payment plan during The Special installment payment application period for students returning to school (2013. 9. 6 ~ 9. 10) 6) If applicants for installment plan apply for student loans, the applications for installment plan is cancelled. 7) Students can take a leave of absence or quit school only after full payment of tuition. 8) Tuition refund is possible as shown below according to refund end date. 9) For the students who are on their surplus/additional semesters and scholarship recipients - Payment plan will be calculated based on the student s major/department tuition, not the student s payment amount - Discounted or scholarship amount will be subtracted from the last payment installment. 11. Please NOTE A. You will be expelled if the tuition is not paid by the designated date under article 35 of the school regulation. B.
