ELIGIBILITY: Delta Air Lines Beyond the Court Sweepstakes (the Promotion ) is open only to US legal residents who are 21 years of age or older as of the time of entry and reside in one of the following counties in the state of California: Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, San Bernardino and Riverside. Employees of Delta Air Lines ( Delta ), its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors and advertising, promotion and Internet agencies, as well as its officers, directors, owners, employees, agents, representatives and members of the immediate family or household of such persons and the NBA Entities (as defined below), and their officers, directors, owners, employees, agents, representatives and members of the immediate family or household of any such persons, are not eligible. ( Lakers ), the National Basketball Association and its member Teams, NBA Properties Inc. and each of their respective parents, subsidiary and affiliated companies. Void where prohibited by law. In the event of a dispute regarding any online entry, the entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of website registration (i.e., the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address). Limit of one (1) entry per email address. In the event of any dispute regarding the identity of an Entrant, the person to whom the email address is registered as of the date of submission of the entry will be deemed to be the Entrant. All eligibility determinations will be made by Lakers in its sole discretion. 2. TIMING: There will be two events within the promotional period ( Promotion Period ) which runs from 12:01am PST on February 27. 2017 to 11:59pm PDT on April 3, 2017. The first promotion, Delta Beyond the Court Event 1 (Event 1), will take place on March 11, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM PST. The entry period for Event 1 will open on February 27, 2017 at 12:01 AM PST and close to all entries at 11:59 PM PST on March 8, 2017. The second promotion, Delta Beyond the Court Event 2 (Event 2), will be take place on April 3, 2017 from 5:00 PM PDT to 7:00 PM PDT. The entry period for Event 2 will open on March 12, 2017 at 9 AM PST and close to all entries at 11:59 PM PST on March 30, 2017. 3. HOW TO ENTER: There is one (1) method of entry. Entries are permitted by entering to win a ticket online at lakers.com/beyondthecourt to attend one of the two promotional events followed by attendance and participation at a Delta Beyond the Court Event during the Promotion Period. Winners will be notified accordingly Limit of one (1) entry per person. No purchase is necessary to enter or win any prize, and the purchase of any product or service will not increase chances of winning. 4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION (X2): One (1) business day following conclusion of each respective entry period, the winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted by Delta or its agent from among all entries received during the Entry Period. The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified by mail, telephone and/or e-mail, at Delta s discretion. If a potential (meaning a winner who has not yet submitted an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability) winner cannot be reached within twenty-four (24) hours of the initial notification attempt, he or she may be disqualified and the prize awarded to an alternate winner at the sole discretion of Delta. The winner is subject to verification. The potential winner will also be required to complete and return to Delta an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability, and, if legally permissible, Publicity Release, within twenty-four (24) hours of attempted delivery of same. To become an actual winner, a potential winner must submit his/her Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability and confirm that he/she meets all of the eligibility requirements. If a potential winner fails to respond to any notification attempt within the time period specified by Delta, or if any attempted notification or prize delivery is returned as undeliverable, or if a potential winner fails to complete and return any required affidavit or release within the specified time period, the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected in the sole discretion of Delta. To become an actual winner, a potential winner must submit his/her Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability and confirm that he/she meets all of the eligibility requirements before award of prize. If affidavit and release are not signed, prize will be forfeited and an alternative potential winner will be selected. Winners must complete notary forms to be processed night of the promotion period. Once the notification of selection has been made, there are no substitutions or changes allowed. If a potential winner fails to respond to any notification attempt within the time period specified by Delta, or if any attempted notification or prize delivery is returned as undeliverable, or if a potential winner fails to complete and return any required affidavit or release within the specified time period, the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected in the sole discretion of Delta. 5. Total aggregate approximate retail value for prize package at $1,200.00. Flight travel must originate from Los Angeles International Airport in Los Angeles, California. Flight travel will be issued in the form of travel certificates which must be redeemed within one (1) year of certificate issuance and travel must be completed within one (1) year of the ticket issue date. Restrictions and blackout periods may apply. Certificates may be redeemed only by the person whose name has been entered and cannot be reissued. Any transportation that is unclaimed, is not awarded or is otherwise not used by the travel completion date specified will be forfeited. The ARV of travel may vary based on airfare fluctuations and distance between departure and destination. Winner will not receive difference between actual and ARV. No substitution or transfer of prizes or cash redemptions permitted, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Certificate seats are limited and may not be available on all flights or in all markets. Certificates are non-transferable, are not redeemable for cash and are void if sold or bartered. The sale or barter of tickets obtained through redemption of Certificates is also prohibited. Any tickets obtained through such sale or barter are void and will not be honored for travel. Tickets may be cancelled or reissued without penalty for a period of twenty-four (24) hours after reservation is made. For travel outside the United States, Caribbean, Mexico, and the Central America, the change fee for Delta-marketed flights is typically $300, but can vary based on location and type of fare change (e.g., a fee of $450 (USD/CAD) will apply for changes made to First/Business class travel between the US/Canada and Transatlantic markets). Based on availability, passengers holding confirmed reservations and tickets may confirm earlier/later same day flight within three (3) hours from scheduled departure time between same origin/destination for a non-refundable fee of $50. Certificates do not include the September 11th Security Fee of up to $5.60, which will be imposed on each flight segment in the passenger s ticketed itinerary and international taxes and fees of up to $349 for an economy ticket. A flight segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing. Baggage fees of up to $25 for first checked bag and $100 for second checked bag, depending on itinerary. Taxes and fees are subject to change. Fees, taxes, and other charges will be determined at the time of ticketing. Any taxes, fees, or charges paid at the time of ticket issuance will be refunded if ticket is not used. However, once redeemed, Certificates are void and will have no further value. Certificate travel will not qualify for SkyMiles mileage. Stopovers/Upgrades/Waitlisting/Open Returns are not permitted for tickets booked with Certificates. Lost, stolen or otherwise destroyed Certificates will not be replaced.
