Summary of Insurance Schedule Who is Covered - Any student and Postgraduate - Research studentship holders - All students of School of Continuing & Professional Studies When covered Whilst travelling on any of the University's approved assignments, duties, study tours and other academic activities outside Hong Kong Geographical Limit Worldwide Duration of Trip Maximum 270 days (for CUHK s approved activities) Period Extension - Optional on student s own choice and cost) Age Limit 16 75 3
Coverage Highlights Covering trip activities including leisure sports e.g. skiing, water sport or even bungee jumping, excluding professional & competition sports No exclusion if injury is caused by terrorism Covering Medical Expenses overseas for registered medical practitioner / clinic / hospital Extend to cover follow-up treatment after returning to Hong Kong (within 120 days) Follow-up treatment in Hong Kong is extended to cover Chinese Medicine, Bonesetter and Acupuncture (HK$200 per visit per day, and HK$5,000 in aggregate) 4

Claims Procedures /Important Notice Written notice of claim should be given to insurer / Aon within 30 days of the incident (via CUHK s Business Office) Information, certificates or evidence to follow as the insurer may require In the event of theft loss of personal property, report to the local police and obtain police report / reference number Take all necessary action to prevent further loss / minimize the loss Take photos of the damaged area/items, ensure that they clearly illustrate the nature and extent of the damage If you receive any liability claim from third party, correspondence, writ or summons, please forward it unanswered to us Do NOT admit liability, negotiate or offer any payment to third party claimant, otherwise your claim may be declined 9
