PSD - Payment Services Directive is an EU Directive, administered by the European Commission (Directorate General Internal Market) to regulate payment services and payment service providers throughout the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA). Countries in the SEPA system include, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, France, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Greece, Estonia, United Kingdom, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Martinique, Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Reunion, Gibraltar, Azores, Madeira, Canary Islands, Monaco, Aland Islands, Croatia, Mayotte, Saint Barthelemy, Saint-Martin, Saint Pierre & Miquelon and San Marino. SEPA covers O transactions only. 'Out of pocket expenses' - any costs imposed by third parties and incurred by the Bank. In the majority of the cases, the Bank would not be aware of the amount of such out of pocket expenses prior to concluding the process. Clients are advised to enquire with the Bank for further details. Non STP - if the payment you request / receive requires manual intervention on the part of the Bank.
