SUMMIT OBJECTIVES Position Ecuador as a Republic of Opportunities Attract foreign direct investment to promote sustainable development in Ecuador. Promote the investment climate of the country. Present investment opportunities in prioritized sectors. Position Ecuador as an attractive destination for foreign investment. Gather local and international investors interested in real estate infrastructure, tourism, logistics, strategic infrastructure, renewable energy, mining, among others. 3

and promote long term ties. WHY ATTEND? Ecuador has regulatory standards aligned to the generation of attractive opportunities for foreign investment, with the aim of boosting the change of the productive matrix through public private relationships. Ecuador Investment Summit 2016 will enable interested investors to have a deep vision of the business climate of Ecuador and the investment opportunities the country has to offer. A HISTORIC LANDMARK For the first time Ecuador organizes an Investment Summit, an ambitious event that aims to become a regional reference in terms of attracting FDI. Ecuador Investment Summit 2016 will bring together 150 participants including national and international investors, business decision-makers and the main Government Officials of the country. WHEN? October 25th and 26th, 2016. During the morning of the first day, a forum will be held with specialized conferences about the investment climate in Ecuador, the importance of FDI in the development of the economies, successful cases and other key elements to invest in the country. In the afternoon, breakout sessions per sectors are programmed. In each one, projects with investment potential will be presented.
