Audatex Release Notes AudaEnterprise Gold v4.0 1. Purpose The purpose of this document is to detail the enhancements implemented in the v4.0 release of the AudaEnterpriseGold (AEG) application. The changes have been made as a result of industry changes and general improvements that have been identified. 2. Enhancements A number of enhancements have been made to existing functionality within AEG. This document explains the changes and directions of use. 2.1 AudaGraphics Repair optimisation This feature is to help support cost effective estimates and correct repair methodology. There are two parts to the feature: Repair to Renew and Renew to Repair. The feature enables a prompt when your custom parameters have been exceeded. The parameters you set are saved and will apply every time you open your AudaGraphics. The parameters are set and changed from within the AudaGraphics screen. This feature requires the assessment to be calculated before being available. Within AudaGraphics is a settings icon in the toolbar. On selection, you will be displayed a pop up screen. You will now be able to configure the Repair optimisation settings. Within the pop up screen are two checkboxes: I to E optimisation enabled and E to I optimisation enabled. With the checkboxes selected, a numerical (percentage) data field and a numerical (currency) data field beneath each selection become active. I to E optimisation REPAIR to RENEW : With a percentage figure entered, the feature will prompt you if the cost of the WUs you enter to repair a part exceeds the percentage (you entered in the settings) of the manufacturers parts price. External ÓAudatex (UK) Ltd., 2017 Page 4 of 14

Within the prompt, you can select to continue with your chosen repair method or switch to a renew method. If you select to ignore the prompt then the repair method and WUs you initially inserted will still apply. If you select to switch to the renew method then the prompt will close and the renew method will be selected instead of the repair method. i.e.: Cost to replace the part is 474.49 I to E parameter is 90%. Labour rate is 20.00 p/hr If you select the part to be repaired and enter 300WUs, you will be prompted because the labour cost to repair the part ( 600.00) exceeds 90% of replacing the new part. E to I optimisation RENEW to REPAIR : The figure entered will be a minimum part price, the feature will then prompt you if you select to renew a part whereby its manufacturer new part price is equal to or higher than this value. Within the prompt, you will be shown how many WUs can be selected for the same price as the parts price, you can select to continue with your chosen renew method or switch to a repair method. If you select to ignore the prompt then the renew method will still apply. If you select to switch to the repair method then the prompt will close and you will be asked to enter the amount of WUs you require to repair the part i.e.: E to I value is 100. Cost to replace the part is 474.49 If you select the part to be renewed then you will be prompted because the Cost to replace the part exceeds the E to I value entered. External ÓAudatex (UK) Ltd., 2017 Page 5 of 14

The Replacement costs are equal to the Manufacturers new part price (inc self-generated parts) and the cost of the Panel/Mechanical Labour. Parts / Work Composition To support accurate repair cost calculations, Parts Composition allows the ability to identify and de-couple auto-generated parts at the time of selection whilst Work Composition will identify the labour generated due to the selection you made. Within AudaGraphics there is a new icon within the toolbar. On selection of the icon, Parts / Work Composition will become active. With Parts / Work Composition active, you will receive a pop up screen every time you select a part for Renew. Within the pop up screen, the top section will list the Parts that are traditionally autogenerated, the Guide Number, Description, Part Number and Price are shown. Within the bottom section you will be shown the labour items generated by your selection. External ÓAudatex (UK) Ltd., 2017 Page 6 of 14

You are able to de-couple any auto generated part by de-selecting the checkbox to the left of the part. By then selecting OK the de-selected part/s will now be separate from the originator. The part will still be selected for renew but will have their price adjusted to 0.00, the part number is retained in reports and the price change will be shown as a mutated price (*). If required, the price can then be individually adjusted within the items applicable graphical zone. By entering the checklist tab within AudaGraphics you will see the list of items. Any parts still linked to its originator will not appear. Any de-coupled parts will be shown separately within their applicable zone. The price can also be adjusted here. Some items that are usually self-generated do not have a location within AudaGraphics. These items, if de-coupled, will appear as a Correction Entry within the checklist tab. The prices of these parts cannot be changed from 0.00. Repair Tips Within AudaGraphics, you are able to select the a repair operation selection menu. icon within the toolbar or within the Repair tips are sourced from the Vehicle Manufacturer, these tips are provided to advise you of possible queries, alerts or general information of which may help you build a more accurate, first time estimate. On selection of the icon within the repair methods menu, a PDF will be opened with the repair tip details for that particular guide number. External ÓAudatex (UK) Ltd., 2017 Page 7 of 14

Repair tips can differ between the left and right side of the vehicle and do not apply to all Manufacturers, Models and Parts. On selection of the toolbar icon, you will be displayed a pop up box from which you will be able to view all the repair tips that apply to the guide numbers you have already selected repair methods for. On selection of a repair tip, a PDF will be opened that contains the repair tip details. 2.2 cap Valuation The below applies to Repairer accounts only. The usage of cap Valuation is a premium service, for more details please contact your Audatex Account Manager. Within AEG there is additional functionality to be able to retrieve a vehicle valuation from cap hpi at the click of a button. The valuation is administered within a new menu option named Valuation within the Vehicle Details section. This menu option replaces the previous Repairer to Engineer Download page. External ÓAudatex (UK) Ltd., 2017 Page 8 of 14

The Valuation page includes the same fields as the Repairer to Engineer Download page but with added functionality. Within the Valuation menu you will be displayed a new subset of fields so that a vehicle valuation can be administered. Reg No This is a read-only field that displays the registration of the vehicle as per the General Details page. To retrieve a valuation from cap hpi this field is mandatory. The valuation is based on the registration number of the vehicle and not the model you have selected in model selection. Accident Date This field displays the Date of Accident as per the General Details page, if the Accident Date is adjusted, the General Details will update to match. To retrieve a valuation from cap hpi this field is mandatory. Mileage External ÓAudatex (UK) Ltd., 2017 Page 9 of 14

This field displays the Mileage Odometer as per the Condition Details page, if the mileage is adjusted, the Condition Details will update to match. To retrieve a valuation from cap hpi this field is mandatory. The vehicle value returned will be based on this mileage. Repair Cost This is a read-only field that will display the Grand Total inc VAT, if a calculation is done. Pre Acc. Valuation This field is the same as the Pre Acc. Valuation field previously found within the Repairer to Engineer Download page. This field can have a manual figure entered. A button displaying the cap hpi logo is shown to left hand side of the Pre Acc. Valuation field. On selection of the button you will be displayed a pop up message to confirm the acceptance of the applicable charges. If you accept, the Pre Acc. Valuation field will display the valuation retrieved from cap hpi. The valuation type shown with the Pre Acc. Valuation field will be displayed within the Valuation Type field. The possible results will be: o cap Value This will be shown if the cap hpi button has been used. The value returned is the Retail Asking price. o Manual This will be shown if you have manually inserted a value. o Insurer This will be shown if the Insurer has inserted a value in their Pre Acc. Valuation field and sent the assessment to you. The valuation can be overwritten if required. If no value is available for the vehicle, the mandatory fields are not complete, the service is unavailable (due to internet connection, etc.) or you do not have the correct permissions you will be advised so on selection of the cap Value button. If the Valuation Type, cap Value has been selected, on changing any of the data fields (Date of Accident, Vehicle Details Reg No or the Mileage - Odometer field) you will be prompted to advise that your cap Value will be cleared. You can select OK to continue and the Pre Acc. Valuation field will be cleared or you can select Ignore and the Pre Acc. Valuation field will be left with its current figure. If a value is entered into the Pre Acc. Valuation field on a previous version of AEG (v3.9 or previous) and sent to the new version (v4.0) then the field will be populated. The Valuation Type will display Manual. External ÓAudatex (UK) Ltd., 2017 Page 10 of 14

The data within the Pre Acc. Value field will be shared on send as per previous versions of AEG. The Total Loss checkbox is used to flag the assessment as a potential total loss to an Insurer. This checkbox acts the same as it did previous to this version. AudaGraphics Total Loss Running Totals (% PAV) This feature is linked to the Pre Acc. Valuation field within AEG, if a value is inserted into the Pre Acc. Valuation field in AEG prior to AudaGraphics being opened then the value is displayed on the left side of the running totals display bar. You can only insert a value by using the Pre Acc. Valuation field in AEG. If the value in the Pre Acc. Valuation field is removed or changed then AudaGraphics will display the new Valuation also. With a figure displayed, the background of the field will change between Green, Yellow and Red. As you build your assessment the value is compared to the repair cost and will change colour as the repair cost grows higher. The colour changes occur when: Green when repair cost is 59% and below of the vehicles value Yellow when the repair cost is between 60% and 85% of the vehicle value Red when the repair cost is 85% and above the vehicle value External ÓAudatex (UK) Ltd., 2017 Page 11 of 14

2.3 Salvage Code of Practice The below applies to Insurer accounts only. Salvage Category List of Values The salvage codes are selected from a list of values within an Insurers AEGs Total Loss Details screen from the dropdown box Salvage Category. This list of values has been updated to include 2 new codes. The new codes are: N Non-Structural Damage S Structural Damage AEG also allows the selection of: A Scrap B Breaker C Repairable Total Loss D Repairable Constructive Total Loss W Total Loss Denoted by Repairer X Stolen Recovered Z Stolen Not Recovered As some customers will still be using the previous version of the AEG software, users of the new client will require to open assessments created on the old client and users on the new client must be able to receive assessments from the old client. The tables below show how the codes will map between the new and old client: External ÓAudatex (UK) Ltd., 2017 Page 12 of 14

If a user on the new client selects one of the new codes (N or S) and sends to a user on the old client or opens the assessment on the old client then the assessment will display blank in the Salvage Category field, the assessment will memorise the Total Loss status of the assessment. If the end user is an Insurer account and would like to change the assessment status from Total Loss then they will have to select one of their available codes and then reselect the blank option, this will reset the assessment status to Interim. The codes C and D are no longer part of the ABI Salvage Code of Practice. To allow users to upgrade but avoid any issues these codes will still be selectable and continue to work as they do currently. If C or D are selected you will be displayed a pop up message: You can select OK and the pop up will close and proceed with the assessment or change the code to another. The AudaMails below allow a Salvage Category to be selected: Salvage Notification Engineers Salvage Message Salvage Instruction The new codes will also be available and the same rules will apply. Appropriately Qualified Person ID Field In the future, a user selecting a salvage code will be required to have had particular training to obtain a qualification. The users Qualification ID will be required to be input at the time of a salvage category selection. A new field called AQP ID has been added to the Total Loss Details page, located below the Salvage Category field. The AQP (Appropriately Qualified Person) ID format is set to 2 letters followed by 5 numbers, no leading or embedded spaces/characters are allowed. The 2 letters must be 1 st and 2 nd in the ID sequence and letters A-Z only. The 5 numbers will follow and 0-9 are allowed. Example: AB12345 External ÓAudatex (UK) Ltd., 2017 Page 13 of 14
