List of Documentation (please note) All documents are to be self-attested by the respective holders in original. Signature should be consistent across Documents should be latest and within the time-frame mentioned below. PAN Card: The Demat and NRE/NRO savings account can be opened in joint names but Trading and PIS bank account can only be in single name Passport &VISA / Residence Permit /OCI /PIO Card: Please ensure that the documents are latest and renewed copies. In case the passport is of nationality other than Indian, then the respective copy along with the OCI/PIO card as applicable needs to be provided Foreign Address & Indian Address: Any utility bill for address proof should not be more than 2months old. Utility bills such as any other latest bank a/c statement with stamp and seal of the bank, Driving License etc can be provided. The same can also suffice in case is available in point 2as mentioned above. Bank Account Statement: t t Should be latest t and not more than 3 months old. It should also contain the stamp and seal of the concerned bank branch and official. KRA of the bank account should be updated in and latest 3 months transactions are needed. Cancelled cheque leaf: Should be authenticated by all holders of the bank account / Bank letter can be issued by the bank branch in case the customer does not have a cheque book. The letter should mention the bank account number, IFSC and MICR code and should be provided in the bank letter head. RBI permission: Will be issued by SBI NRI Mumbai else by the authorized and designated PIS bank branch General POA: Will be issued by SBI NRI Mumbai. In exceptional cases, the customer can also issue the POA to his relative/ family member Photographs: Passport size and all should be same

However the NRO accounts can be opened and operated under the Offline mode.
