System Requirement Checklist To ensure optimal performance for the OPF TRADER application software, please check that your system specification matches the following minimum recommended requirements checklist. OPF TRADER may not work optimally with systems that do not meet the following minimum requirements. Operating System : Windows XP ( Service Pack 3 ) Software : Java Software ( Provided ) Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo Memory : 1GB RAM Memory User Guide - OPF Trader Page 2 of 29
Section 1: Login to OPF Trader 1. To login to your OPF Trader, first double click OPF Trader icon. 2. You should now see the Login Screen. Enter your Username and Password in the fields. 3. If you wish to change your given password, click the button, as highlighted as below. User Guide - OPF Trader Page 3 of 29
Section 2: View Live Quotes 1. To view Live Quotes, click the New shown below. 2. Click the triangle icon on the left of your screen to display the products column. 3. You should now see the Products column (see screenshot below).to add products, click the User Guide - OPF Trader Page 4 of 29
4. You should now see. Click the plus icon. 5. To add products, click the, on any of the products listed. In this example, we are going to add FKLI products by clicking the plus icon. User Guide - OPF Trader Page 5 of 29
6. The should now show Futures contract months sub items. Click the month of the contract. 7. Highlight the months that you are interested to trade by holding and clicking the name of the items. User Guide - OPF Trader Page 6 of 29
8. Press and hold the Ctrl Key and double click. 9. To add other BMD products, repeat steps 4 to 8. 10. To view the product separately, click the BMD tab. 11. To modify the heading, click any column, right click and choose Select Columns. User Guide - OPF Trader Page 7 of 29

Tick the checkboxes for these: Last Traded Price Total traded volume Bid volume Bid price Offer Price Offer Volume Opening Price, Change (Last-YDSP) High Price, Low Price Yesterday Daily Settlement Price Contract Status 13. Click OK. 14. To adjust the Heading, click the header at the columns and drag accordingly. When you are done, right click and choose size column to fit screen. Section 3: Order Book 1. To view Order Book, first you need to click the New button as shown below. 2. Next, click the Status tab. User Guide - OPF Trader Page 9 of 29
a) You should now see the following screen. On the Working Order sheet (a) shown above, right click the white area. Click Select Columns. Tick the checkboxes for these: Trader Account Status Exchange Commodities Contract Date Buy/Sell Lot Price Limit Price (Stop-Limit) Order Type Fill/Working Entry Time Good Till Date Single-Click Cancel User Guide - OPF Trader Page 10 of 29
b) You will also see the Completed/Traded Order (b) shown on the screen below. On the Completed/Traded Order sheet (b) shown above, right click the white area. Click Select Columns. Section 4: Order Placing 1. Before you place orders, first you need to setup your OPF Trader. To do this, click the Settings button shown below. 2. You should now see the following screen display. Please tick the following items of the checkboxes: Display Reflector Button Floating Reflector Floating Ticket and Reflector 3. Click OK. User Guide - OPF Trader Page 13 of 29
4. There are 2 methods to place orders: A) Order Ticket B) Reflector A) Order Ticket Method: 1. Click the button at the bottom of your Main Screen. User Guide - OPF Trader Page 14 of 29
2. When you see the screen below, you are now ready to enter your order details. a) Click the month that you want to trade and the Exchange, Commodity and Contract Date will be automatically changed. b) For the Order Type, if it is a Limit Order just choose Limit. c) Lots: The number of Lots that you want to buy or sell. d) Price: Price at which the order is to be submitted. e) Select the Price from the tick bar that appears when you place the cursor over the field. f) Account: Choose your Account Code. g) To change the Order Ticket to Sell, click the For video tutorial on how to place orders using order ticket method, please visit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-7f0jftdmw User Guide - OPF Trader Page 15 of 29
B) Reflector Method: 1. If you wish to use the reflector method, first select Reflector button from the main screen shown below. User Guide - OPF Trader Page 16 of 29
2. Order placing for reflector method: a) To change the font, click the Un-tick Use Default, tick the Bold checkbox and set Min Size to 15 and Max Size to 18 (Optional) for bigger fonts. User Guide - OPF Trader Page 17 of 29
b) Key in your own Account Code. c) Key in the Number of Lots (Contracts) that you want to Buy or Sell. User Guide - OPF Trader Page 18 of 29
For Queuing Orders: d) Queue to Buy: Queue to buy orders are selected BELOW the Grey Line. Left click at the blue column to queue to buy (e.g 3387). Queue to Buy Orders are at the Blue Column BELOW the Grey Line A Confirmation of Order box will prompt you to check your order details. If everything is in order, click the Yes button. e) Queue to Sell: Queue to buy orders are selected ABOVE the Grey Line. Left click at the red column to queue to sell (e.g 3398). Queue to Sell Orders are at the Red Column ABOVE the Grey Line A Confirmation of Order box will prompt you to check your order details. If everything is in order, click the Yes button. For Direct Selected Price Orders: f) Buy Directly at Selected Price Direct selected orders are selected ABOVE the Grey Line. Left click at the blue column to directly buy at the selected price (e.g 3394). Buy Direct Selected Orders are at the Blue Column ABOVE the Grey Line A Confirmation of Order box will prompt you to check your order details. If everything is in order, click the Yes button. g) Sell Directly at Selected Price Direct selected orders are selected BELOW the Grey Line. Left click at the red column to directly sell at the selected price (e.g 3389). Sell Direct Selected Orders are at the Red Column BELOW the Grey Line A Confirmation of Order box will prompt you to check your order details. If everything is in order, click the Yes button. To Place Orders at Whichever Available Market Price h) Click Buy Mkt to buy at whichever available market price. i) Click Sell Mkt to sell at whichever available market price. Section 5: Cancel or Amend Orders 1. Go to the Order Book: a) To cancel a particular order, click the button. b) To amend the number of lots, click the lots column. User Guide - OPF Trader Page 25 of 29
Section 6: View Account Status 1. To view your Account Status, first you need to setup the position. To do so, select the Position tab. a) Next, right click the white area, choose Select Columns. User Guide - OPF Trader Page 26 of 29
b) Tick the checkboxes for these: Net position Average price Buys Buy average price Sells Sells Average Price Last Open profit & Loss Cumulative Profit & Loss Total Profit & Loss % Open Position Exposure Cash Buying Power Remaining Margin Paid Equity Margin Per Lot (Optional) c) Click OK d) After you ve completed, right click again; choose Size Columns to fit screen. Step 7: Saving Your Settings 1. To properly log off and save all of your settings on OPF Trader, click the Exit button on the login screen. 2. DO NOT use the button to close your OPF Trader application as this will disregard and will not save all of your current settings. 3. If any orders are still working, OPF Trader will prompt you with a warning message and allow you to cancel the log-off request if necessary.
