If you are required to take Part B- Advocacy you must take both the compulsory Advocacy training and the Advocacy s Mock s will be sent out by email on the date specified Advocacy training material will be sent out on the date specified, please note that a skeleton argument is required to be submitted in advance of the training sessions, details will be specified. If you are re-sitting and have attended the compulsory Advocacy training previously you will not need to do so again. The training for Professional Ethics, Criminal Litigation and Civil Litigation are optional. Criminal litigation and Civil litigation optional training is available both online and face to face The Professional ethics training is available online. All candidates will receive access to the BTT online portal and the Law school s online library however only candidates who book the online training will receive access to online recordings and webinars Candidates are advised to self-study, utilising the BSB s BTT handbook where the reading list and syllabus can be located for each section of the BTT. Payment information must be provided at the time of booking. The preferred payment method is credit/ debit card, however payment can also be made by bankers draft or bank transfer. Applications will not be confirmed until payment has been made in full. Terms and Conditions By booking you agree to the following If you do not attend all of part or your booked course/ training and you have not deferred or cancelled you will forfeit your full fees It is your responsibility to ensure that you have requested the relevant s and training as per your BSB letter BPP cannot be held responsible for any incomplete information or errors on your booking form Registration is mandatory for all candidates and non-registration will result in not being able to attend the training or s By applying to the course you consent to the use by BPP of information it receives from you or otherwise holds about you in accordance with its privacy policy. BPP s privacy policy may be viewed here International Students BPP defines an International Student as a Non-EEA national with limited leave to remain in the UK. If you are an International Student you will be required to show evidence that you have the correct leave to enable you to undertake the BTT. Your leave must cover the entire duration of your course and you must be able to present your original passport AND visa at registration. Copies will not be acceptable. BPP will not permit any student who has a pending application or pending appeal with the Home Office to study on any of our courses. Cancellations All cancellation requests must be received no later than 5:30 pm GMT on 12th March 2018. All cancellations are subject to a 200 administration fee and must be made in writing to BTT@bpp.com Please note that candidates cannot defer and then cancel at a later date. Please be aware that a visa refusal is not a visa refusal is not a valid reason for a late cancellations. If you have not received your visa by the deadline you must cancel or defer. Deferrals All deferral requests must be made by the 5:30 pm GMT on 12th March 2018. A deferral should be made if candidates are aware in advance that they will not be able to attend their training/ s. A partial deferral is not possible as s cannot be split, all s will need to be deferred. If you have applied for a visa but not received this by the deadline you will need to defer- receiving a visa late or a visa refusal is not an acceptable reason for mitigating circumstances. All deferrals are subject to a 50 administration fee, this is applicable per. Deferral requests must be made in writing to BTT@bpp.com.
