IUMI2017 Tokyo We are pleased to announce that the International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI) Conference 2017 will be held in Tokyo from September 17 (Sunday) to 20 (Wednesday), 2017. As you may know, IUMI, a wellestablished international organization founded in 1874, with national marine insurance associations as its members, aims to contribute to the development of marine insurance and related industries. The annual conference is held in different countries in September each year, and in 2017, the conference will meet in Tokyo for the first time in 11 years since 2006. Accordingly, the General Insurance Association of Japan is making preparations in the best possible system to ensure the success of the conference in Tokyo, which will be participated by more than 500 marine insurance experts from all over the world.
