The Owner intends t enter int an agreement with a Designer that will deliver design services enabling cnstructin f a facility having the highest pssible quality within the available funding and the required schedule. Qualificatins Statements in respnse t this RFQ shall be submitted in accrdance with the requirements prvided herein. Summary f Prject and Required Designer Services This prject will prvide renvatins f the suth grund and cncurse levels and include relcating visitr lcker rm, addressing life safety issues in the seating areas, crrecting safety regulatins at the field level, and demlitin f the suth cncurse area. The renvatin f this facility is anticipated t span ver multiple phases pending apprvals by the UT Bard f Trustees and the State Building Cmmissin. Hwever, this first phase will slely cncentrate n wrk assciated with the apprved ttal prject budget f $106,000,000 (MACC $86,130,000). A Design fee budget f $5,553,577 has been established fr these services based upn the current State apprval amunt fr the MACC. Hwever, the Owner, at its sle discretin, may revise the MACC and crrespnding Designer s fee. The Multiplier as related t Articles 2.3.2-2.5 fr the SBC-6 are subject t negtiatin, and a multiplier may nt apply. All travel expenses fr designer and their cnsultants are nt reimbursable per the SBC-6a. Hwever, the Owner requires that a single Designer cntract with the Owner and serve as the primary cntact, prject leader, administrative manager and single surce f respnsibility, with any necessary business partners and cnsultants serving under that Designer s management. The Owner als prefers that this Designer have its principal place f business lcated in the State f Tennessee. A Qualificatins Statement that is submitted by a Designer with supprting partners r as a jint venture will be evaluated n the cmbined experiences f the individual member firms as perfrmed thrugh the previus jint venture agreement.
