Meet the Professionals Judith Halabrin, CFP Wealth Advisor Senior Vice President The BHPS Team (from left): Nancy Buttweiler, David Peterson, Doreen DeHaan, Kris Schultz, Judith Halabrin and Karla Lindsay. A seasoned professional with 32 years in the industry, Judy has carefully navigated her clients through even the most volatile of times. Her focus is on the development and execution of customized investment management strategies during the wealth accumulation phase, and customized income solutions during the income distribution phase. She works collaboratively with clients; listening, educating and guiding them through the various stages of their lives and careers. In 2007, Judy was named to the Top Woman Advisors Winner s Circle list by Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal. She also holds the designation of CFP, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Judy is a former member of the Girl Scout Council St. Croix Valley Board of Directors and the Planned Giving Advisory Council. She currently serves on the board of The Retreat. She and her husband John have been married for 20 years. They are St. Paul residents and enjoy traveling, gardening, biking and hiking. 4 MORGAN STANLEY
Nancy Buttweiler, CRPC Wealth Advisor Vice President Nancy uses a holistic approach to investing and wealth management. She accompanies her clients and their families throughout their careers to the pursuit of lifetime aspirations, taking into consideration the many moving parts that can impact their financial future. Her conversational approach allows her to consider the feelings and emotions behind each client s goals, and act accordingly to address those concerns. In her 33 years of work in the financial industry, Nancy has developed a special interest in retirement planning. She has earned the designation of CRPC awarded by the College for Financial Planning, and is an alumna of St. Cloud State University. She has been involved with volunteering for several nonprofit organizations, including Habitat for Humanity and The Angel Foundation. Her hobbies include gardening and travel. David Peterson, CFP, CRPC Wealth Advisor Vice President Attention to detail, good listening skills, and a curious passion for research are the hallmarks of David s practice. Since 2002, he has helped clients successfully use their investments as tools to accumulate wealth, or distribute a sustainable income stream for the next phases of their lives. David is relentless in pursuing new and specialized investment opportunities to fit the goals and values of each client. He also assists companies as they navigate the often confusing individual 401(k) market and creates plans that allow employers to provide effective retirement savings tools for their employees. David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of St. Thomas with a major in Finance. He has several industry accreditations as well, including CFP and the CRPC. While at St. Thomas, David was a member of the University of St. Thomas basketball team. He is an active volunteer coach for local youth sports. David and his wife Sarah have two young sons, Griffin and Tate. Away from his business, he enjoys golfing, basketball, tennis, and spending time with family and friends. Kristopher Schultz, CFP Wealth Advisor Vice President Clients look to Kris to assist them in mapping their financial futures, including creating the lasting legacy many of them dream of establishing for their children, families and communities. His commitment to excellence drives him to review every aspect of a client s financial situation, preferences and goals. His strategic plans include short-term income and growth investments, while also providing for wide range of long-term opportunities, including retirement, estate planning services, and philanthropy. A graduate of the College of Saint Scholastica, Kris holds a bachelor s degree in Business Administration, and has worked in the financial services industry for 13 years. In addition, he holds the designation of CFP, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and his local church food shelf. Kris lives in Hudson, Wisconsin with his wife, Ginene, and their three young children. Then we will closely monitor your portfolio. 4 You will receive a comprehensive quarterly performance review, helping you track progress toward your objectives.
