Invitation and Eligibility Who is eligible for the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices and is invited to participate in the RobecoSAM Corporate Sustainability Assessment? The 2500 largest companies based on free-float market cap is invited for DJSI World. The starting point for this is the S&P Global BMI. For the regional indices, the top 600 largest companies in the S&P Global BMI For DJSI Emerging Markets, the top 800 largest companies from 23 emerging markets The free-float market cap is considered as of end of December the year before The full list of eligible companies can be found on sustainability-indices.com 14

Registration & Confirmation of Participation How can I get started and when will I be able to access the questionnaire and start filling it out? The official invitations were sent out on March 14 On April 3, all invited companies will receive an email sent out from the online system with instructions For new companies, you will need to register and sign up for an account For returning companies, you only need to confirm your participation The 2014 questionnaire will only become available for editing once you have confirmed your participation by clicking on the link in the email you will receive. 16

Submitting Your Response The deadline for submitting the response is May 28th, midnight CEST Once the submission button is clicked, your data is automatically transferred to RobecoSAM The Approval Form needs to be signed and sent to RobecoSAM within one week after submission Deadline extensions can be granted on an exceptional basis and should be applied for when signing up for the assessment Confidentiality of your supporting evidence is ensured by stringent Use of Information Policy and Disclaimer, which can be found on the website 24
