Features and benefits Why choose NOW: Pensions?

Workplace pensions have changed forever! Auto enrolment has been hailed as a great success. Millions of employees are saving into a workplace pension and building up a pot of money for retirement. Be part of the success With NOW: Pensions, all employers, their payroll providers and advisers can be part of this success. We recognise it s not always plain sailing, especially for smaller companies setting up a workplace pension for the first time, but it needn t be a headache either. Facing the challenge Employers tell us they need clear information about auto enrolment so they can fully understand their obligations. They want to make sure they re prepared and know what to do at each stage. They want to provide the best scheme for their employees and their business, but not at any cost. It must be affordable. And they re happy to outsource the process so they can carry on with building their business. 2 NOW: Pensions Features and benefits

A company wholly owned by Danish pension scheme ATP, one of the twenty biggest pension schemes in the world*, managing assets of 88 billion. Scheme assets are held by BNY Mellon as custodian on behalf of the trustees. BNY Mellon is the world s largest custodian and has been operating since the 1700s. Should the unimaginable happen to NOW: Pensions, our members money is safe. 2 We re experienced Following changes to UK pensions legislation in 2008, ATP made the decision to venture into the UK market, bringing their extensive pension experience with them. NOW: Pensions was launched in 2011 having created a new product designed specifically for the auto enrolment market. Today, we manage 500 million of retirement savings for over 1.3 million members from 28,000 participating employers. 3 We re well governed A strong approach to scheme governance is crucial for a well-managed pension. Within the NOW: Pensions master trust, smaller employers can run an affordable scheme that provides employees with the same or better standards of governance as the largest pension schemes. The scheme is managed by two separate and independent company boards: the Trustee Board and the Commercial Board. The Trustee Board make sure that the scheme is run in the best interest of the members. The Commercial Board looks after the day to day operations of the scheme. 4 We believe in sustainability From our founding principles to our investment strategy and customer service levels, we believe in building our business for the long-term. Sustainability is essential if we want to grow our business and advance our proposition. Being a sustainable organisation allows us to continue developing our people and systems to provide a better service to all our customers well into the future. *Investment Adviser 2016 4 NOW: Pensions Features and benefits

We re also happy to accept companies that have missed their staging deadline or duties start date and need to get back on track. We can help them get a scheme up and running in 48 hours. Extra support for SMEs Most smaller companies don t have dedicated pension teams, so the directors and owners of these companies become responsible for implementing their auto enrolment responsibilities.
