Sir, I am directed to refer to convey the sanction of President to the payment of Rs.2,28,80,OOO/-(Rupees two crore twenty eight lakh and eighty thousand only) to the Govt. of Maharashtra as first instalment of grants-inaid during 2007-08 for implementation of Kishori Shakti Yojana (KSY) Scheme. 2. The State Government will- maintain the separate records of expenditure incurred for implementation-of Kishori Shakti Yojana and furnish separate Statement of Expenditure and Utilization Certificate along with Physical Progress Report. 3. This grant-in-aid is towards the non-recurring and recurring expenditure for the Kishori Shakti Yojana. The payment is.provisional and is subject to final adjustment in the light of the audited figures of actual expenditure for the year as a whole. 4. The grant-in-aid is subject to the condition that when the' Scheme is closed or abandoned, the proceeds from the disposal of assets built out of the whole or a portion of the grant sanctioned w"11be shared between the Central and State Governments in proportion with their respective shares in the capital cost to assets. 6. The amount of grant-in-aid is finally adjustable in the books of tl Principal Pay and Accounts Office, Ministry of Women & Child Devek,t->mem" 0, Wing, Ground Floor, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi. The payment of the State would be arranged through the Reserve Bank of India, Nagpur. The State Accountant Generals will send intimation regarding receipt of grant-inaid to the Principal Pay & Accounts Office, Ministry of Women & Child Development, Shastri Bhawan, 0 Wing, Ground Floor, New Delhi. 7. The pattern of grants has been approved by the Ministry of Finance. This sanction is being issued in conformity with the rules and princ;iples of the scheme approved by the Competent Authority. 8 This sanction issues with the concurrence of IFD vide their Dy.No. 229/JS&FA dated 14.05.07. I am directed to convey the sanction of the President for the payment of Rs. 9,35,000.00 (Rupees Nine Lakh and Thirty Five Thousand only) to the Government of Arunachal Pradesh as Grant-in-aid under the scheme of Swayamsidha during 2007-08 (Plan). 2. The Grant-in-Aid is towards the recurring and non-recurring expenditure for Swayamsidha programme. The payment is provisional and is subject to final adjustment.on the basis of audited accounts of actual expenditure for the year as whole vide Ministry of Finance letter No. 2(19) - P.II/60, dated 09.10.1964. 3. State/Block -level expenses may be incurred as indicated in Swayamsidha Scheme, with adaptations as may be made in accordance with the guidelines and instructions issued by the Ministry from time to time and the approved annual action plan for the scheme. 4. The State Goveminent, may furnish, every quarter, progress of expenditure of the Grants released to them, along with the progress report on the implementation of the Centrally sponsored Scheme of Swayamsidha. 5. On receipt of the sanction letter, the Principal AccOt,mtsOffice may issue an advice to the Reserve Bank of India, (Central Accounts Secti"on), Nagpur for affording credit to the balance of the State Government. The Principal Accounts Office may forward a copy ofthe advice to Accountant General and Finance Department of the State Government. 6.
