Brookfield Asset Management CORPORATE OVERVIEW

We are committed to investing the capital entrusted to us in highquality assets that earn a solid cash return on equity, while emphasizing downside protection. Bruce Flatt, CEO, Brookfield ~$250B UNDER MANAGEMENT GLOBALLY 70,000 OPERATING EMPLOYEES 1 700 INVESTMENT PROFESSIONALS 1 30 + COUNTRIES 115 YEARS INVESTING IN REAL ASSETS

A GLOBAL LEADER in Real Assets Brookfield is one of the world s largest alternative asset managers, focused on investing in longlife, high-quality real assets across real estate, infrastructure, renewable power and private equity. We invest in businesses that form the backbone of the global economy, supporting the endeavors of individuals, corporations and governments worldwide. Our strong balance sheet and ready access to large-scale capital enable us to do transactions of a size that sets us apart. To ensure our interests are aligned with our investors, we put our capital to work alongside theirs in every deal we do. 1

Our Investment Philosophy First and foremost, we are value investors with a contrarian point of view. We have learned that some of the best opportunities are found in out-of-favor sectors or regions where capital is scarce. Our investment strategy is simple: utilize our global team of investment professionals, our vast network of employees across our operating businesses, and our industry partners to identify and acquire highquality assets at favorable valuations and finance them on a long-term, low-risk basis. We then create value by increasing cash flows and asset values, and realizing the investment at the right time. We always seek downside protection, and we re proud of our ability to generate strong riskadjusted returns across all market conditions. BROOKFIELD PLACE, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES ARTERIS, BRAZIL 2

Global Scale We benefit from our global scale, operating expertise and our broad-based network with local presence on five continents. Our scale gives us the flexibility to allocate capital to asset classes and markets that offer the most attractive returns. ASSETS UNDER MANAGEMENT By region $161B NORTH AMERICA $28B SOUTH AMERICA $32B EUROPE & MIDDLE EAST $19B ASIA PACIFIC 3

A Demonstrated Commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Standards We recognize that our success depends on the long-term health of the communities in which we conduct business and the environment in which we operate. Around the world, we invest in real assets with the view that we will own them over the long term, and this approach dictates both our investment strategy and our commitment to high ESG practices we believe that value creation and sustainable development are complementary goals. OUR ESG PRINCIPLES As we pursue our value-related goals, the following principles and associated practices ensure that we manage our investments with integrity, balancing economic goals with good corporate citizenship. 1 2 ENSURE THE WELL-BEING AND SAFETY OF EMPLOYEES Employee Well-Being Meet or exceed all applicable labor laws and standards in jurisdictions where we operate, which includes respecting human rights, offering competitive wages and implementing nondiscriminatory, fully inclusive hiring practices. Health & Safety Aim to have zero serious safety incidents within our businesses by working towards implementing consistent health and safety principles across the organization. BE GOOD STEWARDS IN THE COMMUNITIES IN WHICH WE OPERATE Community Engagement Engage with community groups that might be affected by our actions to ensure that their interests, safety and well-being are appropriately integrated into our decision-making. Philanthropy Empower our employees to participate in and use our resources to give back to the communities in which we operate. 4

3 4 MITIGATE THE IMPACT OF OUR OPERATIONS ON THE ENVIRONMENT Environmental Stewardship Strive to minimize the environmental impact of our operations and improve our efficient use of resources over time. CONDUCT BUSINESS ACCORDING TO THE HIGHEST ETHICAL AND LEGAL/REGULATORY STANDARDS Governance, Ethics and Fairness Operate with high ethical standards by conducting business activities in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, and our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
