POLICY WORDING This policy wording serves to disclose the terms & conditions of this Rental Vehicle Excess insurance policy underwritten by Liberty Insurance Pte Ltd, with assistance services provided by Allianz Global Assistance. To understand this policy s significant features, benefits and risks, we advise that you read the following: Benefit Limit outlines the maximum amount for the policy benefit Important Matters contains important information on your duty of disclosure and period of cover, Policy Definitions defines words with special meanings Policy Benefits sets out what We will pay as well as what We will not pay Exclusions and Limitations that are applicable Claims sets out certain obligations that you and we have, which may determine the outcome of your claims settlement INTRODUCTION ABOUT THE INSURANCE COVER Rental Vehicle Excess Insurance covers the excess or deductible that is imposed on you following loss or damage resulting from an automobile accident to the rental vehicle you have hired. This Insurance cover will only be valid on the condition that there is an existing valid Vehicle hire insurance applying to the rental vehicle you have hired. This insurance cover does not cover losses relating to: Any Miscellaneous charges imposed on you, including but not limited to administrative charges & credit card transactional charges. YOUR POLICY AND PREMIUM You will be told the premium payable for the policy when you apply. It is based on the length of your journey. The longer the journey, the higher the premium is. Your premium also includes amounts that take into account our obligation to pay any relevant compulsory government charges, taxes or levies (e.g: Stamp Duty and GST) in relation to your policy. These amounts are stated in your Certificate of Insurance as part of the total premium. BENEFIT LIMIT Rental Vehicle Excess SGD 4,000 IMPORTANT MATTERS ABOUT THIS POLICY WORDING This policy wording sets out the cover provided and the terms, conditions and exclusions which apply. You need to read it carefully to make sure you understand it entirely and that it meets your needs. This policy wording, your certificate of insurance, and any endorsements written by us make up your contract with us. Please retain these documents in a safe place. Under this policy wording, the maximum amount we will pay is stated in the Benefit Limit. WHO CAN PURCHASE THIS POLICY? Coverage is available to all Residents of Singapore whom rent Insured Vehicles from official Car rental companies overseas through CarTrawler. WHO IS YOUR INSURER? This Rental Vehicle Excess insurance policy is underwritten by Liberty Insurance Pte Ltd. The insurer may be referred to as we, our and us in this policy wording. AWP Services Singapore Pte. Ltd. has been appointed by the insurer to act as agent and to arrange the policy and provide general advice and other services on our behalf. YOUR DUTY OF DISCLOSURE Before commencing this contract of insurance, you have a duty to disclose to us the information we need to enable us to decide whether and on what terms your proposal for insurance is acceptable. You have the duty to: Disclose every matter that you know, or could reasonably be expected to know. Give us honest and complete answers. Disclose any information that is relevant to our decision whether to accept the risk of the insurance and if so, on what terms. The same duties apply for policy amendment, extension, and any other endorsement. This policy will be void and automatically expire in the event of misrepresentation, mis-description, non-disclosure or concealment of any material circumstances, such as but not limited to your health conditions, your country of residence, and your destination. YOUR PERIOD OF COVER Your Coverage begins when you collect the rental vehicle from the rental vehicle company. Your Coverage ends when you return the rental vehicle to the rental vehicle company or on the end date specified on your Certificate of Insurance, or maximum rental period, whichever comes first. POLICY AMENDMENT If you intend to amend your policy details, you must let us know in writing before the collection of Your Insured vehicle. Such amendment becomes effective after it has been confirmed and recorded by us with issuance of a policy endorsement and corresponding premium changes, if applicable. POLICY CANCELLATION If you decide that you do not want this policy, you may cancel this policy, however any premiums that have been paid are completely non refundable. 1 P a g e

ASSISTANCE Allianz Global Assistance is a worldwide travel assistance service company whose subsidiary company is AWP Services Singapore Pte. Ltd. of 12 Marina View, #13 04 Asia Square Tower 2, Singapore 018961 and has been appointed by us to administer all emergency assistance services and benefits of this insurance. You may contact them in an emergency 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. JURISDICTION AND CHOICE OF LAW This insurance policy document is subjected and interpreted in accordance to the laws of the Republic of Singapore. POLICY DEFINITIONS Some words used in this Policy Wording have special meaning. When these words are used, they have the meaning defined below: Accident/Accidental/Accidentally means a sudden, unexpected, unintended and external event country of residence means the country in which you are granted rights of citizenship or permanent residence by the government authorities, or is a country where you resided more than 90 days in the past year. Damage means damage to the insured vehicle caused by fire, vandalism, accident or theft occurring during your rental period. Excess/Deposit means the amount stated in your rental agreement that you are responsible for in the event of damage to the insured vehicle. Less any applicable charges, including but not limited to administrative charges, Miscellaneous charges "home" means the place where you normally reside in your country of residence. Insured vehicle means the vehicle owned by a licensed rental company or agency, which you have agreed to hire from them according to the terms of your rental agreement. The vehicle must: Be no more than 10 years old; Have no more than 9 seats Not be driven off a public highway; Not be a motor home, campervan, commercial vehicle, minibus, motorcycle or moped. "medical practitioner" means a qualified doctor of medicine or dentist registered in the place where you received the services/ treatment or who is licensed and legally entitled to practice medicine in the applicable field for which services are delivered. A medical practitioner cannot be related to you. Miscellaneous charges means Credit card processing charge(s), fuel charge(s), loss of rental utilization charge(s), handling fee(s), claims processing fee(s) and all relevant and applicable taxes, "Overseas" means any country outside of your country of residence. "policy holder" means the individual whom the policy has been issued to, as stated in the certificate of insurance. public highway means a main road or thoroughfare, such as a street, boulevard or parkway available to the public for use for travel or transportation. Resident(s) of Singapore means Singapore citizens and permanent residents (holders of re-entry permits) as well as holders of employment passes, work permits, students' passes or dependant s passes. Rental period means the dates you have arranged to hire the insured vehicle, as confirmed on your rental agreement. You will only be covered if you are aged between 21 and 74 (inclusive) at the date your policy was issued. Any other trip which begins after you get back is not covered. A trip which is booked to last longer than 31 days is not covered. "SGD" means Singapore dollars, which is the currency in which claims settlements are calculated. Vehicle hire insurance means a valid motor insurance applied to the rental vehicle you have hired. The motor insurance must have a similar or larger validity period than this Rental Vehicle Excess insurance. "we", "our" and "us" means the insurer of your policy, Liberty Insurance Pte Ltd, or its agent AWP Services Singapore Pte. Ltd. "you" and "your" means all insured persons under the policy. 2 P a g e

POLICY BENEFIT Rental Vehicle Excess (a) We will reimburse you for any excess / deductible / deposit applied to your Vehicle hire insurance for which you become legally liable to pay, up to the Benefit Limit, if the insured vehicle is accidentally damaged, involved in an accident or stolen, damaged by fire or vandalized during the rental period. The Rental car company s Vehicle Hire Insurance company must provide in writing, formal acceptance of the claim from the Rental Car company for said damage to the insured vehicle, before We become legally liable for any claims submitted by you to Us. (b) We will not pay for losses: 1) Where you have not followed the terms of your rental agreement 2) Where your car rental booking with CarTrawler has been cancelled 3) Arising from the operation of the Rental Vehicle in violation of the terms of the rental or insurance agreement 4) Where the claim with your car hire firm has been declined 5) Damage to the insured vehicle interior 6) Mechanical failure of the insured vehicle 7) Misfuelling 8) General wear and tear, gradual deterioration, damage from insects or vermin, inherent vice or damage 9) If you are aged 20 and below, or 75 and above on the date your policy was issued. 10) Where your claim is not a valid Vehicle hire insurance claim, regardless of the amount. 11) Relating to losses resulting from damage to: a. Windscreens, tyres ; b. Undercarriage unless admitted and payable as a valid claim under the Rental Vehicle s Motor Insurance Policy and provided an excess or deductible has been imposed on you. You must check General Exclusions for other reasons why we will not pay. EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS We will not pay under any circumstances if: 1. You do not act in a responsible way to protect yourself and your property and to avoid making a claim. 2. You do not do everything you can to reduce your loss as much as possible. 3. Your claim is for consequential loss of any kind, including loss of enjoyment. 4. At the time of purchasing the policy, you were aware of something that would give rise to you making a claim under this policy. 5. Your claim arises because you act illegally or break any government prohibition or regulation including visa requirements. 6. Your claim arises from a government authority confiscating, detaining or destroying anything. 7. Your claim arises from any act of war, whether war is declared or not or from any rebellion, revolution, insurrection or taking of power by the military 8. Your claim arises from a nuclear reaction or contamination from nuclear weapons or radioactivity. 9. Your claim arises from biological and/or chemical material, substance, compound or the like used directly or indirectly for the purpose to harm or to destroy human life and/or create public fear. 10. Your claim arises directly or indirectly from an act of terrorism. 11. Your claim arises from, or is in anyway related to depression, anxiety, stress, mental or nervous conditions. 12. Your claim arises from suicide or attempted suicide. 13. You were under the influence of any intoxicating liquor or drugs at the time the loss occurred, except a drug prescribed to you by a Medical Practitioner, and taken in accordance with their instructions. 14. Your claim arises from motor sports of any kind. 15. Your claim arises from an automobile accident that occurred in Singapore. 16. Your claim arises from any Epidemic or Pandemic 17. You do not follow any suggestions or recommendations made by any government or other official authority including the Ministry of Foreign affairs during the period of insurance. 18. Your claim arises from any currency exchange rate changes. 19. Your claim arises from the failure of fear of failure or inability of any equipment or any computer program, whether or not you own it, to recognise or to correctly interpret or process any date as the true or correct date, or to continue to function correctly beyond that date. 20. Your age is 20 and below, or 75 and above at the date your policy was issued. 21. You do not contact us as soon as possible with full details of anything that may result in a claim and give us all the information we ask for. 22. Your claim is not a valid Vehicle hire insurance claim. 23. You can recover your losses or additional expenses from any other party. 24. You are not in possession of a valid driving license in the Country of which you have rented the vehicle from. 3 P a g e

CLAIMS AWP Services Singapore Pte. Ltd. (Allianz Global Assistance) is authorised by Liberty Insurance Pte Ltd to also provide claims handling services as our agent, not as your agent. Allianz Global Assistance acts under an agreement with the insurer which means that Allianz Global Assistance can handle claims and make recommendations of claim settlements to the insurer and is jointly referred to as we, our and us in this policy wording for this purpose only. REASONABLE PRECAUTIONS You must do everything reasonably possible to prevent a loss from occurring, or when a loss has occurred, ensure that the loss is minimised. If you do not, we can reduce your claim by the amount of prejudice we have suffered, or reject your entire claim. It is essential that you provide us with as much detail as possible to enable us to handle your claim quickly. Please keep photocopies of all information you send us. You will need to obtain some information about your claim while you are away. Below is a list of the documents we will need in order to deal with your claim. For all claims Your original policy schedule, rental agreement and travel documents showing the dates and times of travel. Original receipts and accounts for all expenses You have to pay. Original bills or invoices You are asked to pay. Details of any other insurance You may have that may cover the same loss. The official claim form submitted by your Rental Car company, claiming against damages to the Insured Vehicle The official notice/memo of acceptance of the claim from the Rental Car s Insurance Company, stating the amount the Insurance Company has agreed to indemnify the Rental Car Company for. As much evidence as possible to support Your claim (including photographs and video evidence if this applies). A copy of the driving license of the person driving the Insured vehicle at the time of the accident. Accidental damage Excess/Deposit Reimbursement Detailed account of the circumstances surrounding the event including photographs and video evidence (if this applies) Full details of any witnesses, providing written statements where available. Detailed account of the circumstances that led to the accident/damage to the Insured vehicle, including where appropriate a written police report. CLAIMS PROCESSING We endeavour to process your claim within 10 working days of us receiving a completed claim form and all necessary documentation. If we need additional information, a written request will be sent to you within 10 working days. We will pay all claims in Singapore Dollars. The rate of currency exchange that will apply is the rate at the time we process your claim. No indemnity from us will carry any interest. SUBROGATION At our discretion, we may start, control and settle legal proceedings for our own benefit in your name to recover compensation or secure indemnity from any party in respect of anything covered by this policy. We may do so in your name and on your behalf. You also consent to us seeking to recover any money we have paid to you from a third party. You must help us to do this, even if we have not yet paid your claim, and even if the amount we pay is less than full compensation for your loss. AGE In the event of any claim, the age of the insured person will be determined as at the date of injury or illness with reference to their date of birth. INTERPRETATION This policy, certificate and the schedule shall be read together and any word or expression to which a specific meaning has been attached in any part of this policy, certificate or schedule shall bear such meaning wherever it may appear. CLERICAL ERROR A clerical error by Allianz Global Assistance shall not invalidate an insurance which is otherwise validly in force, nor would it continue insurance otherwise not validly in force. ARBITRATION If we admit liability for a claim but there is a dispute as to the amount to be paid, the dispute will be referred to an arbitrator. The arbitrator will be appointed jointly by you and us in accordance with the law at the time. You may not take legal action against us over the dispute before the arbitrator has reached a decision. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION Should you have a complaint arising out of this insurance or our employees, authorised representatives or service providers, please contact us We will respond to your complaint within 5 business days, provided we receive all necessary information and we have completed any investigation required. If we need more time, we will agree on a reasonable alternative time frame. 4 P a g e
