A. APPLYING FOR A CARD The application process for an American Express Corporate Green Card differs between each ABB market. Locally, several processes have been implemented to handle this topic. The American Express Corporate Green Cards for ABB employees are issued without an annual fee in line with our global contract. If you would like to apply for a card, please contact your local Travel Manager or HR department, they have been assigned as ABB program administrators for American Express and hold the most recent card application forms. As per market regulations, applications can also be managed online by the ABB Intranet. Please check accordingly. Under normal circumstances cards are issued in five to ten working days. Cards can be issued on an urgent basis, however, please note there will be a fee applied for this service which will be added to your first statement. 1. I understand my American Express Card is a Charge Card. How does this differ from a Credit Card? A charge Card requires full settlement of the account to be made by the due date noted on the monthly statement. 2. How long is my Corporate Card valid? The validity of your Corporate Card differs across the globe. It is valid for two up to four years providing payment Terms and Conditions are met and you have a continued business need. Renewal Cards will be sent some weeks prior to the expiry date of your Card. New Cards can only be used once your old Card has expired. 3. Will my Corporate Card cost me anything? No, you will not have to pay an annual fee for your American Express Corporate Green Card issued for ABB employees. However American Express may apply late payment charges if your account goes overdue. 4. How quickly can I obtain a Card? Under normal circumstances Cards are issued in five to ten days. A Card can be issued on an urgent basis. However, please note that there will be a fee applied for this which will be added to your first statement.

5. Once I have received my Card, how quickly can I start using it? When you receive your Card, you will need to activate it by calling the Customer Services team. The telephone numbers are located on the removable sticker on the Card and also on the back of the Card itself. 6. What if I haven t used my Card for a while? If you have not used your Card for some time, large transactions may be referred for validation. Therefore, you should call Customer Services to let them know if you are likely to be making more frequent or higher value transactions. 7. Does American Express perform personal credit checks on Corporate Card applications? Yes, American Express does perform individual credit checks on Corporate Card applications. Checks are also undertaken for previous American Express Card usage. 8. Why does American Express need to verify my identity? By law, American Express has to verify the identity of anyone who wants to open an account or buy financial products or services. This is one of the procedures that financial services firms have to undertake as part of Money Laundering Regulations. 9. Why is an identity check necessary when the Card is a Company Liability or a Companysettled product? American Express has a legal requirement to carry out appropriate customer due diligence before setting up a Card account. The Card applicant is being issued with a financial instrument and, no matter who pays the bill, the Card applicant is being given a tool on which fraudulent offences could potentially be committed. As a result, we are required to ensure we are issuing our product in a responsible manner. By confirming the identity of all Card applicants, American Express is taking positive steps towards reducing the risk of one of our customers being a victim of identity fraud. 10. Is a record left on my credit record when American Express performs an Identity Check? Yes, a record of the Identity Check, called a 'footprint', is left on your credit record. However, it is not a credit footprint. If you request a copy of your Experian Credit Report, what you will see in the Previous Search section of your report is evidence of

something called an unrecorded enquiry. This is the label used to identify searches not made for lending purposes and includes an Identity Check. 11. Why does American Express need to verify my identity? By law, American Express has to verify the identity of anyone who wants to open an account or buy financial products or services. This is one of the procedures that financial services firms have to undertake as part of Money Laundering Regulations. 12. B. USING THE CARD 1. Where can I use my American Express Corporate Card? The Card is accepted at millions of establishments worldwide for both your traditional Travel and Entertainment expenses, and more day to day expenses such as buying stationery, printing costs, advertising, mobile phone charges and taxis. Visit amexvicinity.com, to find out in a convenient way which restaurants, hotels and ATMs around the world were frequented by other American Express Corporate Card Members and view TripAdvisor reviews to find locations for your business needs. 2. Is there a pre-set spending limit? No. To allow for frequent business travel and expenditure there is no pre-set spending limit on the amount you can charge to your Corporate Card. However during the first few months of ownership, your spend patterns will be monitored in order to establish

"normal spend". This is to help safeguard against fraudulent use of your Card. During this time large transactions may be referred for validation; this will require you to confirm security details at the time of referral. 3. If I am due to visit a country where American Express may not be widely accepted, can I still use my Card to obtain foreign currency before I travel? Yes you can obtain either foreign currency or local currency prior to leaving your country. Foreign currency may be purchased on your American Express Card from various Foreign Exchange outlets such as: ICE TTT American Express Foreign Exchange Services Travelex 4. Can my American Express Card be used as a telephone calling Card? Yes, if the telephone accepts charge Cards, you can use your American Express Card to pay for the call in the normal way. The charges will appear on your statement 5. What if I change my name? If you have changed your name recently, you should reach out to your local American Express Customer Services Teams, requesting that your name be changed on your Card. Depending on your location; this might be done via fax. Please include the following information: Your full Card number State why your Card needs to be changed How you would like your name to appear on the Card Your previous and new signatures A copy of your marriage/deed poll certificate. A new Card will be issued to you and sent to your billing address. 6. Why might my Card be refused by a merchant? In the infrequent cases where your Card may be refused by a merchant, there may be a number of reasons for this. For example, late payment of the account; the limit on the

account has been exceeded; or the system has detected an "out of pattern" spend. The Cardmember will be advised to contact American Express to discuss the nature of the decline and to make any necessary adjustments to their account prior to approval of the charge. This may require input from the Programme Administrator. 7. Card Acceptance Your preferred venue does not accept the American Express Corporate Card? Then, please let us know. Our Merchant Service teams will work on your request. Please contact establishmentleadsabb@aexp.com and forward information on merchant name and location to your dedicated ABB support at American Express. You can also forward such leads on the local American Express websites. C. LOST OR STOLEN CARDS 1. What if I lose my Corporate Card? Immediately contact your local American Express Customer Services to cancel your original Corporate Card. American Express will issue you with a replacement Card. In an emergency, American Express can provide you with a replacement Card, usually within 48 hours. This can either be obtained by going directly to your nearest American Express Travel Office, or a Card can be sent to you. 2. Why am I personally liable for if my American Express Card is lost or stolen? You must advise American Express Customer Services as soon as you realize your Card is no longer in your possession. Up until the time that you report the Card missing, American Express reserve the right to charge you for the first amount fraudulently billed to your Card. After notification, your liability for any subsequent use of the Card will cease.

D. MEMBERSHIP REWARDS 1. Am I allowed to enroll into Membership Rewards? Please email abb_feedback@aexp.com for more information on the ABB Membership Rewards programme. In general, this is not allowed. In markets, where this had been part of the programme since years, you are allowed to use your existing points but no further roll out on that. E. MISCELLANEOUS 1. What if I receive a fraudulent email? In case you receive an American Express related email and you fear that this might be a phishing-mail, please forward this email to spoof@aexp.com. 2. How can I reclaim fraudulent charges on my statement? In case you might have fraudulent charges on your statement, please reach out to your local American Express Customer Services team (the number can be found on the back of your American Express Corporate Card). They will be able to assist you on this matter.
