Russian Reporter is a high quality popular weekly magazine for the new active middle class of Russia. It covers all main topics of the social, business and political life in Russia and abroad. Russian reporter isn t a franchise no an imitation, it is made and invented in Russia and for Russia. Prestigious international award show that it is Russia's first weekly journal of world-class quality journalism, reportage exclusivity, modern design and photography. Press Distributors Association summed up the competition: The sales leader in the print media market in 2011. The purpose of this event - to determine the newspapers and magazines, the most demanded by the consumer in the current year. PDA divides all existing print media into several thematic groups: "The socio-political", "Business Edition", "Ladies Edition", "Culture, leisure and entertainment," and others. Total of 41 thematic group. In the category Social and political mazines Russian Reporter was the sales leader. The results of the competition show the objective dynamics of demand and supply in the printed media market. From 8 to 28 February 2012 in the U.S. the winners of the contest Pictures of the Year International had been chosen. Each year the competition in photojournalism is conducted by the Missouri School of Journalism and the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute. Pictures of the Year International is one of the most prestigious and oldest competitions in the world of journalistic photography. The first time it was held in 1944 at the University of Missouri. The 69 awards ceremony will be held on April 20-21 in Chicago. Russian Reporter won the first prize in the category of Magazine Editing Portfolio leaving behind the National Geographic Magazine. The jury awarded the magazine with Award of Excellence in the category of Magazine Sports Story Editing for the work Motoball in the village of Kuscheva. March 21, 2012 the talented journalists were awarded with the ISKRA (Spark) prize - a national award in the print media, designed to enhance the professional skills of journalists. Among the winners of this year the authors of Russian Reporter: Alexander Kobelyatsky and Marina Akhmedova, who received first prize for The Best Report. 3

The Russian Reporter is the only Russian publication which has ever participated in the exhibition Visa pour l Image (City:Perpignan, France, Stanley Greene / NOOR for Russian Reporter Magazine:The Road to Ruin:Drugs and Disease.) The Russian Reporter won in two categories of the national print media awards, (Nominations: Photos of the year and Best coverage of military conflicts. ) 2007 The Russian Reporter brought the exhibition World Press Photo to Moscow and St. Petersburg for the first time in many years (in partnership with the Objective Reality Fund.) 4
