DATA ENTRY OF ACCOUNT MODIFICATION FORM IN PLCLIENTS This screen allows you to enter details of modifications (single as well as multiple changes) to be done in the Client Master for Trading & Demat Account held with PL-DP On receipt of physical documents at our end, we shall verify them & approve the modification request. In case of any discrepancy, the reason for rejection/on-hold shall be updated under AOF Client Document Rejection On approval, the changes in trading account shall be effected & a confirmation of modification done shall be sent to client s e-mail ID immediately. In case of demat account, the changes shall be effected by end of day (EOD) and shall reflect in DP Client Master on plclients on the next day after EOD reports are updated. Requests for Modifications of details in Trading & Demat account are received from clients through - - KRA-KYC Form (especially those given by Dormant clients) - Change in Permanent &/or Correspondence Address & Contact details - KRA-KYC Change Form - For change in Permanent &/or Correspondence Address & Contact details - Account Modification Form (PL-AMF) - For adding a new Bank Account in Trading account, For replacing existing Bank account in Demat account, For adding a new Demat Account in Trading account - Direct Credit Form For RTGS/NEFT facility in Trading account - Dormant Re-activation Request Letter - Change in Annual Income details - Segment Preference Letter - For trading in new segment - Nomination Form For updating Nominee details. (Presently this module provides for change of nominee in trading account only. Nomination Form for Demat account shall be processed by DP team separately in CDAS system directly. So change of Nominee in Demat account need not be entered in this module) Clients must be informed, at the time of submission of their modification requests, that - Details given in KRA-KYC Form or KRA-KYC Change Form shall be effected in both, Trading & Demat accounts (all accounts where client is first-holder) so that KYC data is in sync at all places - PL-AMF Forms must clearly indicate whether given Bank account is to be updated in Trading account or in Demat account or in both accounts. In absence of such information, it shall be updated in both accounts. - Multiple Bank accounts can be added to Trading Account but in Demat account, there can be only one bank account linked to it. - Direct Credit Forms must be accompanied by a cancelled cheque in original. On receipt of KRA-KYC Form/Change Form from your client, you must check DP Client Master in plclients to ascertain the fields which are to be modified. (We have observed that many a times, the data in both masters are not in sync as a result of which changes are to be effected in any one of the account only; hence the request to check before processing) As per earlier practice, press TAB only to go to next field. Do not press Enter button at any point of time. The screen will blank out & data entered will not be saved. At any point of time, the entered data can be saved by pressing SAVE button at the bottom of the page

. Go to Masters Select Client Modification Form 3. Type the client s Trading Code. If you have received fresh request, directly click on Modify Client Details. The data-entry screen will open on another page. 3. In case you are receiving the request form again or if you wish to check status of all the forms sent by you for this client, then you may select any one of the options provided & press Submit a. Pending will display all pending requests which are not yet approved at PL-HO b. Approved will display those requests which have been sent earlier & approved at PL-HO c. All will display date-wise status report for all requests sent

4 TAB MODIFY IN DP. The client s demat account held in PL-DP are displayed here.. In case of multiple account where client is first-holder, all account numbers shall be displayed here 3. Default value for updation in demat account is Yes 4. If changes are NOT to be effected in all or any of the Demat account, then select No from the drop-box list against that demat account 3 & 6 5 3 & 6 3 & 6 TAB ADDRESS. Two columns are displayed here Old Values & New values. Existing Details of client s Permanent Address, Correspondence Address and Contact details as recorded in Trading Account are displayed.. The data under Old Values are disabled and changes are to be made only under New Value columns that too only in the field where modification has to take place 3. Tick relevant check-box that is provided on top for modification of existing details. Enter new data under the New Values column of the relevant field. 4. Same form may be used for modifying multiple fields. for e.g. if changes are to be made in client s Address & Mobile number, then tick-mark all check- boxes provided against Modify Permanent Address, Modify Correspondence Address & Modify Other Details Box and type in new Values. 5. If Permanent & Correspondence address is same, then check on box provided against Same as Permanent address because in DP account, both addresses are to be recorded.

6. Ensure that the relevant check-box on top is tick-marked before saving the data or else the data will not get saved in database 3 4 7 5 & 6 TAB BANK DETAILS. Two rows are displayed here Old Values & New values.. Existing Details of client s Bank Account in Trading account & in demat account are displayed in the first row 3. Ensure that the check-box Modify Bank Details is tick-marked before saving the data or else the data will not get saved in database 4. Click on Add New button. 5. One more row shall be displayed where you have to fill in the bank account details i.e. Bank Name, Account number, Account Type, MICR Code, Bank Account name, IFSC Code 6. For other details, please note the various options available to be followed under each scenario: Adding new Bank account in Trading account without Remittance facility Adding new Bank account in Trading account with Remittance facility Update Type = Trading Add/Modify = Add Remittance = No Payment Mode = <keep blank> Update Type = Trading Add/Modify = Add Remittance = Yes Payment Mode = RTGS/NEFT/FT (choose anyone) Simultaneously change following fields in existing bank data as under: Remittance = No Payment Mode = <keep blank>

Modifying Bank account in Demat Account only Adding new Bank account in Trading account and also Modifying same account in Demat Account Update Type = DP Add/Modify = Modify Remittance = No Payment Mode = <keep blank> Update Type = Both Add/Modify = Add Remittance & Payment Mode = refer above - as per client s requirement 7. Click on Save Bank before proceeding. 8. If multiple bank accounts are to be updated, click on Add new & repeat points 5, 6 & 7 given above TAB NOMINATION DETAILS. This tab is to be used to update Nominee & Nominee Guardian details in Trading Account. Ensure that the check-box on top (Modify Nominee Details &/or Modify Nominee Guardian Details) of each field is tick-marked before saving the data or else the data will not get saved in database

3 TAB SEGMENT. This tab is to be used to update the new segment preferred by the client in Trading Account. Client s existing preferred segments ( Yes ) are disabled. Only those which were No can be modified. 3. Ensure that the check-box on top (Modify Segment Preferred) is tick-marked before saving the data or else the data will not get saved in database. At any point of time, the entered data can be saved by pressing SAVE button at the bottom of the page. A form number will be generated upon saving of modified details which must be mentioned on top of the Modification documents for easy retrieval at our end

. If you wish to see status of all Modification requests entered & sent for your clients, then without selecting particular client, check on box provided against All clients and press Submit. The status of their request forms shall be displayed alongside their names & status. 3. If all documents are correct & valid, we will approve the change request. The status shall immediately change to Approved and date of approval shall be displayed. 4. If the documents are incomplete/invalid & kept on hold, the Approved Status will appear blank 5. Edit of the Form is permissible until it is approved by us. Once approved, you can only view the changed data & further changes are not permitted. So any fresh modification request received shall have to be reentered as a fresh request form **********************************************
