You can join our employee-led sports and social clubs at each site. The sites run their own programmes based on employee interests - so whether its walking, football, pilates or going to a concert, you are likely to find something to help improve your health and wellbeing and have a great time with Lilly colleagues. You will also find opportunities to unwind at the sites. From sharing a meal with colleagues in the subsidised cafeteria to making use of our quiet rooms for personal time and reflection, to participating in a football tournament or using the gym, you are likely to find something for you. If these are not right for you there are other options to stay fit. Join a gym at corporate rates. GymFlex enables you to buy gym membership at discounted corporate rates from a wide variety of health clubs, gyms and leisure centres across the country. Cycle to work and build your exercise into your working day. Cycling is a great way to stay fit and save money. Our cycle to work scheme helps you fund a new cycle and safety equipment in a tax efficient way. Our sites have safe bike storage, lockers and shower facilities. If you work at one of our sites in the UK you will be able to take advantage of our health monitoring programmes. We have partnered with Bupa to bring you a range of support so you can keep track of your overall health and wellbeing. Wellbeing kiosk: The kiosk is on site during the year and you can check your BMI and blood pressure and after answering a few candid health questions which are confidential and not shared with Lilly you can walk away in 10-15 minutes with a plan to help you achieve your goals. Health monitoring: You will have opportunities on site to have your cholesterol and glucose levels checked and receive personal health advice. If you are ill and away from work, Bupa are also your first contact point. You will be able to discuss your concerns with a health professional and be directed to the most appropriate source of help to recover as quickly as possible. NEXT > 7

Lilly offers a subsidy towards a Bupa health assessment. These are tailored for your needs and a range of options is available to you. After the check you will get a personalised health report and a practical action plan. Employee Assistance Private Medical Healthcare You can also arrange a health check for your partner. Although Lilly won t pay a subsidy for this you do get this at the corporate rate. Health Cash Plan and Dental Insurance You can select this benefit in LillyFlex NEXT > 8

The Employee Assistance Programme is a confidential service that you can call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can access information and support over the phone to help you with a range of issues when an independent, objective expert might be welcome. Employee Assistance If it would be helpful to talk, we have qualified counsellors across the country who are available to meet you. Private Medical Healthcare Health Cash Plan and Dental Insurance The Employee Assistance Programme also provides you with access to a childcare and eldercare referral service, helping you find the care that s right for your loved ones. Lilly employees receive private healthcare from day one. This gives you fast access to diagnosis and treatment when you need it. Depending on the condition, you can often be referred on for treatment straight away, with no need for a GP referral. You can also enrol a partner and dependant children. There will be a cost to you for doing this but you will have peace of mind that they will also get fast access to treatment. You can add your partner and children in LillyFlex Health Cash Plan and Dental Insurance NEXT > 10

Wellbeing Sports and Social Gym Membership and Cycle to Work On Site Support Health Screening Employee Assistance Private Medical Healthcare Health Cash Plan and Dental Insurance Money back on a range of medical treatments. The health cash plan reimburses a range of medical costs including dental, optician s fees, physio, complementary and alternative medicine. Depending on your family and their health needs, this can be an effective way to budget for daily medical expenses and can even give you a positive return. Or just your dental treatment. Dental insurance can take the worry out of paying for your dental treatment. A range of packages are available to suit your needs. The Lilly Scheme covers any pre-existing conditions except oral cancer. You can select these benefit in LillyFlex Health Cash Plan and Dental Insurance NEXT > 11

That s why we provide you with financial education to help you make the most of your finances. mymoney education: We have signed up with Nudge to provide you independent personalised financial education. There are over 800 topics to learn about and something for everyone, regardless of age, wealth or interests. Whatever your dreams and goals from saving and investing, saving for a holiday or a home or planning a family, you will get personalised nudges whenever there is something you need to know. mymoney webinars: Want to hear from an expert? Log in to one of our topical webinars to hear more and ask your questions directly to an expert. Retirement planning: Our retirement planning tools help you see the value of Lilly benefits and the income you might recieve in retirement. Lifestyle account: For when you need some additional support with your financial decision making, the lifestyle account may be right for you. Lilly will match your spending on a Financial Advisor, providing up to 240 a year support to match your own spending on advice. You can access all our financial education tools on myreward at any time and select the Lifestyle Account in LillyFlex NEXT > 12

Financial Education Share Ownership Retirement Savings Sick Pay Personal Accident and Critical Illness Insurance Share Ownership The All Employee Share Ownership Plan (AESOP) helps you build your savings and potentially benefit from the Company s success by buying shares in Eli Lilly and Company in a tax efficient way. You can save up to 150 a month and the money is used to buy shares in Lilly. If held for five years these shares are free from tax and national insurance. You can sign up for the AESOP on the MyReward site at any time Life Assurance NEXT > 13

Financial Education Share Ownership Retirement Savings Sick Pay Personal Accident and Critical Illness Insurance Life Assurance Retirement Savings Saving for your retirement is one of the most important things you can do during your working life. The Lilly Self Invested Pension Plan (Lilly SIPP) provides a sound foundation for your retirement planning. You are automatically enrolled into the Lilly SIPP from day one no waiting period or forms to fill in. Contributions at a Glance You Save Lilly Contributes Total Savings Over 3% 13% plus 5% of any additional savings 16% plus 105% of any additional savings 3% 13% 16% 2% 12% 14% 1% 11% 12% 0% 10% 10% From day one your contribution is set at 3%, which is made by salary sacrifice. Your savings will initially be invested in the default fund but you will be able to manage your investment choices online after joining. You can choose to pay more or less on LillyFlex NEXT > 14

Financial Education Share Ownership Retirement Savings Sick Pay Personal Accident and Critical Illness Insurance Life Assurance Sick Pay Company sick pay provides you with a measure of financial security whilst you are absent from work due to illness or injury. If you are unwell, Lilly provides you with access to an independent health line that you must call on your first day of absence. You will receive support and guidance to help you get well quickly. You can also be fast tracked to other health services provided by Lilly, such as access to physiotherapy or counselling if life s stresses are proving challenging. This early intervention can often shorten the time it takes you to get back to better health and feeling more like yourself again. If injured or unwell you will be eligible for sick pay. The rate of pay is based on your length of service. If your absence extends beyond six months and you remain unfit to work, income protection will be payable. This will be payable at 50% of pay but you can select a higher level, for which you will make a contribution. You can select this higher level on LillyFlex NEXT > 15

Financial Education Share Ownership Retirement Savings Sick Pay Personal Accident and Critical Illness Insurance Life Assurance Personal Accident and Critical Illness Insurance Lilly sick pay will provide you with some peace of mind in case anything goes wrong, but you may wish to consider additional insurances. Personal Accident Insurance. If you are unable to work due to injury, you may have unexpected bills to cover as well. Personal Accident Insurance can provide a tax-free lump sum payment in the event of injury to help cover these costs. Cover can also be extended to cover your family. Critical Illness Insurance. If you are concerned about how you will manage financially if you are diagnosed with a serious illness then Critical Illness Insurance may be right for you. Critical Illness Insurance will provide you with a tax-free lump sum if you are diagnosed with one of a range of conditions. The lump sum could be used for extra support at home, modifications to your home if required, or simply to help provide financial security. You can select these benefits on LillyFlex NEXT > 16

Financial Education Share Ownership Retirement Savings Sick Pay Personal Accident and Critical Illness Insurance Life Assurance Life Assurance Taking the time to consider protection for your loved ones in the years ahead may save them distress and hardship later on. Cover for you. Lilly provides a core level of life assurance benefit of eight times your pay. You may need more, or less, depending on your family circumstances. You can trade down to two times your pay or up to 20 times your pay, subject to an overall cap of 1.25m. Cover for a partner. You can also buy life assurance for a partner. Volunteer & Giving At Lilly, we think it s important to give something back to the communities we work in and support causes we care about. Our Global Day of Service unites Lilly employees from around the world to make a collective impact by volunteering in their communities. Our Connecting Hearts Abroad programme offers Lilly ambassadors the opportunity to participate, on company time, in a two-week service assignment in communities throughout Asia, Africa and Central and Southern America. Charitable giving funds provided by the company are managed by a committee of involved employees to support local, national and international charitable causes. Our payroll allows employees to take part in Give as You Earn. Many employees volunteer to support local communities on an ongoing basis and our leave policy supports these activities. Annual Leave Other Leaves Annual Leave We believe that breaks from work are important. Lilly provide a competitive annual leave entitlement to allow employees time away from work. Time away from work is important to recharge. On joining, you are entitled to 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. This increases by one day on your fifth, tenth and fifteenth anniversary with the company. In addition to this, you can buy or sell up to one working week s holiday to give you a little more flexibility or to help your finances if you would prefer the pay. Annual Leave Other Leaves Other Leaves If often feels like there are changes around each corner of life. These changes can be exciting, like celebrating the arrival of a new family member or taking time away for education. Other changes can be more challenging, like caring for a loved one in need. At Lilly you have many options for paid or unpaid time off. Family leaves: Lilly offers market competitive leaves for maternity, adoption, parental and paternity leave. Armed services and community support: Lilly supports our volunteer armed forces and those wishing to undertake community service e.g. service as a magistrate or participating in community support activities. Professional work experience: This will be supported where it is required to maintain professional expertise. Compassionate leave: Will be provided depending on the situation and includes bereavement leave. If longer leave is required, flexible working arrangements can be considered. Marriage or civil partnership leave: Congratulations! An extra day s holiday will be provided.
