Following consultation with Senior Executive across the insurance sector, we developed our MDI modules as Irish versions of the ACII modules, specifically authored for relevance to the Irish legislative and regulatory landscape. 03 We understand that balancing study with a busy work and personal life can be challenging, so we ve created a suite of study supports to help you balance your time, cover the material and feel confident on exam day. Most of our supports are available online, allowing you the flexibility to study when it suits. As an advanced qualification, the course material for the MDI is more demanding than APA or CIP, so we provide a range of enhanced study supports including: Lectures: These are developed by subject matter experts to help you on your way to success. Assignments: You can submit a mid-term assignment for marking to gauge your progress throughout the term. Virtual classes and webinars: Study on the go when it suits your schedule with recorded lectures on iiiconnect. Learning plans: These provide a revision schedule broken down week by week to help you manage your time. STUDY SUPPORTS Past papers: Review past papers with examiners notes on how best to answer. Other supports: include our syllabus, e-books, the exam countdown timer and glossaries of key terms all of these are available through iiiconnect, which you can find in your Member Area account. 8 9
04 So you ve passed your exams. What s next? Once you earn the Management Diploma in Insurance, you ll be required to complete CPD to maintain your MDI designation. If you re CIP qualified, your CPD requirements will remain the same once you achieve the MDI: Complete 15 hours CPD per year *One of these hours must relate to ethics *One of these hours must relate to your specific function Record and submit all CPD hours completed by 31 December. You can do this through the Member Area of www.iii.ie. As a member of The Insurance Institute, you ll have access to a range of face to face CPD lectures that take place in Cork, Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Sligo. You ll also have access to our comprehensive CPD e-learning modules through iiiconnect. You can learn more at iii.ie/cpd. CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT Completing an MDI module will also allow you to earn 8 hours towards your annual CPD requirement. You can learn more at iii.ie/cpd. 10 11

Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII) MDI modules allow you to accumulate CII credits that count towards the ACII qualification.
