It s the same great bank only better! Sincerely, Karen S. Glenn President/CEO First United Bank and Trust Guide to First United Bank and Trust Company s Banking Options 1

RANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONSR What phone numbers do I use to call First United Bank? We welcome your questions and concerns. You will be receiving mailings from us over the next month relative to any changes you might experience as a result of our computer conversion. Any time you have questions, please know we are here to answer them. You may continue to call your local Beaver Dam and Dundee Branches at (270) 274-5678 with any questions you may have. You may also contact First United Bank in Madisonville at (270) 821-5555. What will change as a result of the change in bank ownership? We believe the information presented in this booklet will represent the most significant changes for you, so we encourage you to read the contents thoroughly. We want to assure you that you will continue to receive the best in personal customer service and quality financial products. We are a community bank dedicated to your success! new banking hours Effective Monday, May 9, 2016 banking hours in Beaver Dam and Dundee will be as follows: Lobby and Drive-thru Monday Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Is anything changing with my deposit accounts? After the computer conversion on May 7, your deposit account could be changing. All specific changes that will affect your accounts are detailed in this booklet and you will receive a full disclosure in the coming days. One broad change across all accounts is the order in which we post items to your checking account. We post electronic items smallest to largest by dollar amount, then check number order. If your account type is changing, please know that we have selected a First United account that most closely mirrors the account you had with Bank of Ohio County. However, we have several checking and saving options available. What if I wish to change the type of account I presently have? It s easy! Just stop in one of our locations and see a customer service representative. We will be happy to visit with you about the different types of accounts that are available. You may also visit us online at www.efirstunitedbank.com to check out all of our products! 2 Guide to First United Bank and Trust Company s Banking Options

Is anything changing with my loan account? With the change of bank ownership on April 1, 2016, First United will become the servicing agent for your loan. You will continue with the same account number and coupon books unless you have been notified individually. You will now make your payment checks to First United Bank, and you can continue making your payment at the same location in Beaver Dam or Dundee. If you have your payment set up automatically, that will continue without interruption for your convenience. Beginning on May 9, payments will be accepted at any of our locations. What will be the effect on direct deposit and automatic payments? All direct deposits and automatic payments that you currently have set up on your account will continue to work. However, direct deposit and automatic payment transactions use the bank routing number as a means of directing the transaction to the proper account. Your routing number will change as of May 7, 2016. Any future direct deposits or automatic payments that you schedule will need to use First United Bank s routing number 083902507. Here is an example of how we post direct deposits: If you are scheduled to receive a direct deposit on the 4th of the month and it is a normal processing day for the bank, you will see the amount in your memo balance that day (the 4th) and have access to the funds. However, it will officially post to your account that evening. Will my account numbers be changing? The majority of customers will keep their current account numbers. However, it is possible that some First United Bank and Bank of Ohio County account numbers will be duplicates. We realize this can cause a hardship, so we will be notifying the few customers that are affected individually. What do I do with my supply of Bank of Ohio County checks? Great news, you may continue to use your Bank of Ohio County checks! Because most account numbers are not changing, you may use your current checks until they are gone and then order new First United checks! (Again, we will notify those few customers whose account numbers are duplicated.) Will the look or delivery date of my checking and savings account statements change? The look of your statements will change after conversion. While the same information will be provided to you on your statement, it may be positioned differently. In the month of May, you will receive a statement dated May 6, 2016. This will contain your account detail from the date of your prior statement through May 6. If you normally receive your statement in the second week of the month, this will serve as your May statement and your next statement will arrive the second week of June. All others will receive a second statement in May, on their regular statement date. Moving forward, the delivery date of your statement will not change. What miscellaneous charges does First United Bank have, and what charges will be different? First United s Schedule of Fees does differ somewhat from Bank of Ohio County. The new Schedule of Fees will be effective May 7. A copy is included in this booklet. If you have questions about the Schedule of Fees, please contact us. Does First United Bank offer Telephone Banking? You bet! Telephone Banking will be available to you through First United Bank on May 8. If you are already a telephone banking customer with Bank of Ohio County, you are automatically registered in First United s telephone banking. If not, just call the number and the prompts will walk you through the enrollment process. The number is toll free 1-800-367-2740. What changes will take place regarding my Time Deposits? You may continue to hold your Bank of Ohio County Certificate of Deposit and Individual Retirement Accounts, and you will earn the same rate of interest you are presently earning to maturity. In coming weeks, you will receive information and disclosures with your new terms and conditions. Will I still receive CD renewal notices and other notices about my accounts? Yes, you will continue to receive all required account communication just as you have before. The look of the notice will be different, but the information will be the same. INTERNET BANKING and MOBILE BANKING How will I access my account information on the internet? Until May 6 at 4 p.m., you may continue to access Bank of Ohio County online banking just as you have previously through their website and mobile app. Please be advised after that time, you will no longer be able to access your information through Bank of Ohio County s online banking service. Beginning Sunday, May 8 you can enroll for First United Bank s online banking service at www.efirstunitedbank.com Just click on Register in the upper right-hand corner of the screen to get started. Once registered you will be able to see your 4 Guide to First United Bank and Trust Company s Banking Options

account balances, make transfers, and register for bill pay and estatements. Because of the change in processors, you will not be able to view your Bank of Ohio County history on First United s online banking service. How will I access my account information on my mobile devices? Until May 6 at 4 p.m., you may continue to access Bank of Ohio County online banking just as you have previously through their website and mobile app. Please be advised after that time, you will no longer be able to access your information through Bank of Ohio County s online banking service. With First Mobile Banking, you may use our free apps for Apple or Android, your mobile web browser or simple text message to access account information. Check balances, transfer money, pay bills, or deposit checks using your smart phone. You can download our mobile banking app from the Apple or Android App Store to your smart phone, ipad, or tablet. For text and web browser access, log on to our website at www.efirstunitedbank.com and register for internet banking. Once registered, click on the Additional Services tab and choose Text Banking and Alerts. Because of the change in processors, you will not be able to view your Bank of Ohio County history on First United s online banking or mobile service. Does First United offer online bill pay services? We do offer bill pay at no charge! You must be an online banking customer to take advantage of this service. I am currently a bill pay customer with Bank of Ohio County, will I be able to access my information after May 6? First United uses a different vendor for our bill pay service, therefore, you will need to reload any payees you currently have once you have registered for First United s service. Any payments scheduled to be sent after May 6 on Bank of Ohio County s bill pay will not occur. Additionally, you may want to go online before May 6 and print any important history you currently have in bill pay. We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. Our Customer Service Representatives stand ready to help you get registered and enter your information with First United Bank so you don t miss a beat on your bill pay. ATM/DEBIT CARD CHANGES What about my ATM/Debit Card? If you currently have a Bank of Ohio County ATM/debit card, you will automatically be issued a First United Bank ATM/debit card. Cards will be mailed April 20, 2016, followed shortly by your Personal Identification Number (PIN) number. No action is required on your part; your card will be issued automatically. You will no longer be charged a monthly fee for your ATM/ debit card. How long will my Bank of Ohio County Debit Card work? You may continue to use your current debit card until May 8, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. CST. Please use your First United Bank card after that date and time. Helpful Hint If you have automatic monthly payments assigned to your Bank of Ohio County debit card, or have entered your debit card information online, remember to update this information prior to your next automatic payment. Watch the Mail Your new First United Bank debit card and new Personal Identification Number (PIN) will be arriving in the mail several days apart. For security, the envelopes are relatively generic (as shown below). Look for the P.O. Box 1190, Madisonville, KY 42431 return address. Activation is simple Once you have received both your card and your PIN, you may activate your card by simply making a purchase using your PIN number or using the ATM. If you would like to change your PIN number, you may do so at any of our ATMs, or stop in at our Beaver Dam location in Ohio County or our downtown location in Madisonville and see a Customer Service Representative. You may activate your new card any time after 10:00 p.m. on May 8, 2016. Your new daily ATM withdrawal limit will now be $300 and your daily debit card point-of-sale limit will be $3,000. 6 Guide to First United Bank and Trust Company s Banking Options

RYOUR ABILITY TO WITHDRAW FUNDSR This policy statement applies to all deposit accounts. Our policy is to make funds from your cash and check deposits available to you on the first business day after the day we receive your deposit. Electronic direct deposits will be available on the day we receive the deposit. Once the funds are available, you can withdraw them in cash and we will use the funds to pay checks that you have written. Please remember that even after we have made funds available to you, and you have withdrawn the funds, you are still responsible for checks you deposit that are returned to us unpaid and for any other problems involving your deposit. If we are not going to make all of the funds from your deposit available on the first business day, we will notify you at the time you make your deposit. We will also tell you when the funds will be available. If your deposit is not made directly to one of our employees, or if we decide to take this action after you have left the premises, we will mail you the notice by the day after we receive your deposit. If you will need the funds from a deposit right away, you should ask us when the funds will be available. Safeguard exceptions. In addition, funds you deposit by check may be delayed for a longer period under the following circumstances: For determining the availability of your deposits, every day is a business day, except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays. If you make a deposit before closing on a business day that we are open, we will consider that day to be the day of your deposit. However, if you make a deposit after closing or on a day we are not open, we will consider that the deposit was made on the next business day we are open. If you make a deposit at an ATM before 2:00 p.m. on a business day that we are open, we will consider that day to be the day of your deposit. However, if you make a deposit at an ATM after 2:00 p.m. or on a day we are not open, we will consider that the deposit was made on the next business day we are open. If we cash a check for you that is drawn on another bank, we may withhold the availability of a corresponding amount of funds that are already in your account. Those funds will be available at the time funds from the check we cashed would have been available if you had deposited it. If we accept for deposit a check that is drawn on another bank, we may make funds from the deposit available for withdrawal immediately but delay your availability to withdraw a corresponding amount of funds that you have on deposit in another account with us. The funds in the other account would then not be available for withdrawal until the time periods that are described elsewhere in this disclosure for the type of check that you deposited. LONGER DELAYS MAY APPLY Case-by-case delays. In some cases, we will not make all of the funds that you deposit by check available to you on the first business day after the day of your deposit. Depending on the type of check that you deposit, funds may not be available until the second business day after the day of your deposit. The first $200 of your deposits, however, will be available on the first business day. We believe a check you deposit will not be paid. You deposit checks totaling more than $5,000 on any one day. You redeposit a check that has been returned unpaid. You have overdrawn your account repeatedly in the last six months. There is an emergency, such as failure of computer or communications equipment. We will notify you if we delay your ability to withdraw funds for any of these reasons, and we will tell you when the funds will be available. They will generally be available no later than the seventh business day after the day of your deposit. SPECIAL RULES FOR NEW ACCOUNTS If you are a new customer, the following special rules will apply during the first 30 days your account is open. Funds from electronic direct deposits to your account will be available on the day we receive the deposit. Funds from deposits of cash, wire transfers, and the first $5,000 of a day s total deposits of cashier s, certified, teller s, traveler s, and federal, state and local government checks will be available on the first business day after the day of your deposit if the deposit meets certain conditions. For example, the checks must be payable to you. The excess over $5,000 will be available on the seventh business day after the day of your deposit. If your deposit of these checks (other than a U.S. Treasury check) is not made in person to one of our employees, the first $5,000 may not be available until the second business day after the day of your deposit. Funds from deposits of checks drawn on First United Bank and Trust Company will be available on the same business day as the day of your deposit. Funds from all other check deposits will be available no later than the seventh business day after the day of your deposit. Guide to First United Bank and Trust Company s Banking Options 11
