Jackson Square, New Orleans, LA Day 3 Plantation Tour / Swamp Adventure Experience the life of a wealthy sugar baron with a visit to Houmas House Plantation. Tour the plantation house and stroll the 38 acres of gardens. After lunch, shoot pictures of moss hanging on gnarled cypress trees as you take a unique journey by boat into a Louisiana bayou. Watch swamp creatures peek out from underbrush and safely come within a few feet of jumping gators. This will be an unforgettable experience. We ll return to New Orleans for the evening. Meals: B, L Day 5 Travel Home Our bags are packed for the journey home but we have the number one attraction in New Orleans waiting for us this morning. The National WWII Museum tells the story of the American experience in the war that changed the world. Afterwards, we are off to the New Orleans airport to catch our flight back home. Meals: B Steamboat Natchez Day 4 Mardis Gras World This morning we ll pay a visit to Mardi Gras World, the largest and most respected float builder in the world. Since 1947, this company has created most of the spectacular props and floats seen in the Mardi Gras parades. Many options are available for you in the afternoon.
